Will Hatton jeopardise the ITV deal?

Surely ITV thought they'd be getting access to Hatton fights through Mr Allegedly and one assumes that Frankie told them Ricky was in the bag.

Now Ricky's seemingly gone down the Team Hamed route, will the ITV deal require renegotiation?

it'll just mean he won't get as many fights on itv1 as first thought. aside from that i can't c there being a big problem over it.

warren has amir khan who is a much bigger name than hatton anyway.

plus he still has the dependable likes of calzaghe and harrison on the books.

dependable in terms of towing the party line and being decent fighters.

Yes Khan is a bigger name, but pretty soon people are want to see him in some decent fights, if he isn't going anywhere he's not going to stay a big star for long.

Yes Khan is a bigger name, but pretty soon people are want to see him in some decent fights, if he isn't going anywhere he's not going to stay a big star for long.

All they need is a hyped up WBU champ with a following - Mitchell fits the bill.

I bet Khan will be pushed through to WBU status pretty fast now. The youngest ever WBU champ

They could also give Alex Arthur a push

Wouldn't be suprised if he trys to bring back Witter, could try signing John Murray who looks the business

Maybe this will be good for SN and British Boxing as it'll make them work harder and use more of their talents

ITV won't be happy, thats for sure. It could mean Khan is rushed along a little quicker because without Hatton his stable is lacking a 'big' name. Calzaghe is popular but he isn't known by average Joe on the street. After Hatton beat Zoo he was everywhere.

alex arthur could be the snake in grass couldn't he.

he has got talent and did look very promising before the gomez disaster. he's maturing and does look like he could topple the lesser of the super feather champs.

plus he has the all important fanbase.

Plus Super-Feather is weak in terms of champs. But Arthur isn't that good Euro-level, but against a below average belt holder, why not?

MABs obviously the best belt holder, but hes tiny at 130, in his recent interview he said he forced feeds himself to maintain the weight, he was a bit blown up at 126. He didn't put on any weight after weigh-in against Morales3.

MAB-Marquez or MAB-Harrison or MAB-Chi should happen

Morales and Pac don't have belts, Morales will probably goto 135, Pac will re-match him either before or after this.

I think Kevin Mitchell is a future WBU champion but i don't think Frank can get away with doing that with Khan...having Khan win a crappy alphabelt and claiming he is the youngest world champion etc would be a cop out.

He still has some reasonably marketable fighters in his camp like Calzaghe, Harrison, Arthur etc but Hatton will leave a void as he captured the imagination of the nation.

I can't see Witter Buying that one to be honnest the two of them have spent there entire time arguing since they left and I don't think witter wants to be with Warren unless warren can bring him Hatton which if hatton leaves he will not. If hatton hasn't left Warren will not want Witter... one of those catch 22 situations.

Witter is being CO-Promoted with Golden Boy for 3 fights I think?
IF the WBC title were to become vacant and he won it then surely Golden Boy would try and promote more of his fights over in the US?
