Katsidis/Mensah *SPOILER*

Just watched Katsidis losing a majority decision to the Ghanain, Albert Mensah. I thought Mensah deserved the close victory as he was landing the cleaner, more effective shots and could have stopped Katsidis in the 10th as he was out on his feet.

As usual, Katsidis was throwing over a hundred punches a round but it was more quantity than quality and he was getting tagged far too easy, his defence was shocking. I really think he should finish up now. He has been in far too many wars and they have to be taking their toll by now.

Mensah was impressive. He looks a bit limited but is technically very sound and has a rock solid chin.

Just watched it he should retire now he has nothing left in the tank after all the wars he's been in the fight with casamayor was a modern classic IMHO

I have to agree, its time Katsidis quit boxing before he gets serious brain damage. He always has blocked punches with his head.

Yes, looks like Katsidis has entered gatekeeper territory. With his style, he will always eat a lot of shots. He's not likely to get another title shot, and for sure won't win one, not of any merit anyway.

He's had a great career, and provided us all with some fantastic night's entertainment - let's hope he has made enough to call it a day and walk away.
