Fury v Rogan RBR
Fury v Rogan RBR
Fury comes out clearly having been idolising Audley as he's come out as a sotuhpaw and adopts the Audley Harrison approach throwing nothing. Rogan banks the first two rounds pressing forward. Fury keeps wanting to turn orthadox but remains a southpaw in the third.
Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
Even 28-28 after 3.
Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
Southpaw clearly doesn't suit Fury. Not sure why he's done this, he has a decent left jab (though maybe not the best since Larry Holmes as MH once claimed)
Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
Not many HW win on a body shot. That's pretty impressive.

Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
I wouldn't say that was impressive by any stretch!
Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
fao kiethmoon (and any other fury lovers),
Fury is british title standard only....end of.
Even if he wins tonight he has no class at all...........world class?????? give me a break, best training camp he has ever had etc? whatever.
Can anyone come back at me?

Odd stoppage by the corner. Rogan made the count, round was virtually over so he had recovery time and time for the corner to assess him.
Odd.
Odd.

He won the fight at a canter. Fury is class and he will be a world champion soon.Crazyboy wrote:fao kiethmoon (and any other fury lovers),

Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
Was very odd stoppage as you say only seconds left. Rogan was looking at corner for a good three seconds when he wasn't hurt. Very iffy!! Channel five now talking fury up. He is going nowhere!!!
Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
Rogan had the look of a man protesting the stoppage, but not exactly gutted it was over, to be honest. Did well the first two rounds, but Fury basically stood there and did nothing. I would suggest that a permanent switch to southpaw shouldn't be in Fury's plans, I don't think he looked particularly comfortable in the stance.
Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
well he showed he can get in shape, thats about it,sadly beating a 40 year old taxi driver, albeit a game one still does`nt prove anything to me
he moves like a cow at milking time to me,but fair play he keeps winning
put him in with a klit and lets see how far he goes!!

Rogan is 40 years of age and he's recently had neck and spinal surgery. That wasn't impressive it was a mismatch
Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
If Pajkic can drop Fury. I can't see the Klitschkos having any problems. He'll have to wait until they both retire. I still don't think he'll beat Price either.
At least he got himself in shape though. That's half the battle won.

I think Fury looked really good. In shape, fit, accurate jab, didn't get hit much.

Fury fighting at his level yet again. Price would destroy him as he well knows.

Fair play to Tyson he's beating what's put in front of him and never in a dull fight. Plus we get boxing on free telly.
Like to see him get a shot at helenius next. Or a decent euro level fighter.
Agree about the southpaw stance he didn't look comfortable but got the peach of body shot out of it.

Re: Fury v Rogan RBR
He's the "biggest star in HW boxing, behind the Klitschko's" apparently.

And you think Price is by far the most overhyped british boxer?Horse wrote:He won the fight at a canter. Fury is class and he will be a world champion soon.Crazyboy wrote:fao kiethmoon (and any other fury lovers),

Are you trying to tell me he wouldn't wipe the floor with Povetkin tomorrow and that he's not the biggest heavyweight star in the world?billy bessey wrote:What an absolute pile of shite they are talking there. It even puts Bunces ass licking to shame
The Klits will be begging Fury to fight soon, they'll be so desperate that they'll come to England to do so.
