Tyson is slightly unpredictable , I'm not sure whether it's his youthful arrogance, like he knows best or if he's mentally unhinged! anyway the blokes entertaining and he put together some good combinations as a southpaw?! :-? tonight so good luck to him.
Muller Povetkin? best in the world bar the Klits? sorry Mick I'm not sure where your coming from.

I dont think Price beats Fury as readily as some on here seem to think.

Yes Fury is a bit open and Price is very skilfull and could detonate that right hand and it could be game over.

However, Fury has proven he has balls and has proven he can come back from mini crises etc etc

Has Price proven this yet?? What happens if Fury drags Price into the trenches?

I think Fury is a little better than he's given credit for.

He would beat Helenius IMO

I dont think fury wants to fight, reguardless of what people think who will win etc. i asked price myself when he wants to get fury in ring and he said "up to him isnt it? Whenever he wants im game".

I would love to see fury vs helenius personnally

He is tall, powerful, entertaining, throws good combinations and is willing to throw punches to the body. He is a good all rounder. He is also charismatic and likes to keep active and fight often. What is there not to like?
states wrote:Don't get into this argument. You'll end up with a headache.
Why do you say that?
i'll break this down.

tall = yes
powerful = haha
entertaining = wtf you on about
good combinations = as above
body punches = agreed
good allrounder = see entertaining and good combinations comments
charismatic = if you call his personality charismatic then i would question your own.
fight often = agreed.

he is cumbersome and sloppy, not world class and never will be, he simply doesn;'t have 'it'.

Even if he wins tonight he has no class at all...........world class?????? give me a break, best training camp he has ever had etc? whatever.

Can anyone come back at me?
Fury beat what was put in front of him, simple as that. Fury would beat Helenius with ease.
i have valued your comments ever since i have been on this forum, mate please, he is british title at best.

He is completely shite, what honestly makes you believe he is world class? the kliits would eat him alive......argue with me?
I'm never said he beats on of the Klitschkos. I said he would be world champion and I stand by it.

Last night he didn't take a clean shot, looked relaxed and beat Rogan with ease. He also did it as a southpaw. Yes, his balance is all over the shop, he's sloppy and unconventional, but show me a heavyweight with more guts.

He's beaten everyone put in front of him and he has faced much better opposition than Price.

Spot on. Fury has had to dig deep in his fights, had his whiskers tested, had to get off the floor to win no matter how good or bad the opposition. The only decent name on Price's CV is Big John and he came in out of shape looking to get out of the fight as soon as credible so speaks volumes that this is the name people refer back to when saying how great Price is.

let us not forget that rogie has beaten audley and skelton in the past, plus won prizefighter, so its a reasonable win for fury. fury needs to be tested upwards a bit now..

Martin is still a tough ask and is pump full of pride and guts. No way that he would not do his level best, he came to win. Tyson Fury had a good night, won well (as a southpaw, not seen that before) and was a grown up after the bout, in the ring and in the interview. The young man is learning new tricks. I was impressed with him. I think that World Titles are beyond him but he's turning into a very capable and improving fighter.

Isn't his real name Luke Tyson Furey?
Bit of stage management there. All he has going for him is the name, that'll get casual fans talking. He is dire. Technique is terrible and there's more power in a fornicating panadol.

I don't know what Rogan was doing last night. He is in against a guy with height and reach advantages over him and he comes forward with his hands down head hunting. Who came up with that game plan? His punch resistance did not seem there at all. Fury was hurting him every time he landed. It became so one sided that the audience were watching the huge free for all going on in the crowd. The guy in the white shirt who was battering everything that came near him should be brought in as Tyson's next opponent.

He's not at all bad for a European heavyweight. The name is a catch but the name's not beat Rogan or Chisora. He's not a fantastic monster but is good and getting better. In a year or 2 he may do very well. I imagined a poor bout last night as Rogan is a hard man and a game fighter. That Fury beat him lefty says something; (he's adaptable and confident to try things out on a big stage), I can't knock him for the win. A good win.

The fight was poor. Rogan was worse than I expected and looked like he wanted out before that body shot did him; Fury looked terrible for most of it.

Apart from that, it was great.

Rogan can still turn a good man over and Fury will beat better men. I enjoyed the bout but weren't expecting a standout bout.

In the interview on the BBC report it seems clear that Martin Rogan's nose was broken. Also (I havent read earlier in the thread so I'll check now) but they do mention it all kicking off in the crowd and I did notice in the background people seemed to be looking across to something. Seems to happen every time Fury fights. Also when Fury was saying he got good support coming into the ring andI dunno whether he is deaf or whether I was hearing something different but I thought he got booed to shit coming into the ring and when he was being introduced by the MC.

Yeah, despite my greying beard I bought into the hype a bit whilst other wiser heads were telling me exactly what it would be - very poor fare.

Bit of a glorified sparring session, Fury knew he could do what he wanted and when he wanted which was highlighted by him going southpaw. Being changed to a 12rounder was abit of a farce.

Surely Fury ought to be given credit; boxing Southpaw the whole bout, (never seen him done before), demonstrates some extra ability and coordination. Rogan may well be past his best but doesn't come to lose and to be done by a one punch body blow is some going. Fury has plenty of knockers and I'd be surprised if he was ever the worlds best but he can fight.
