Slightly off topic, but do you agree with Fury being a top ten heavyweight? I was surprised when The Ring put him in at 10 ahead of the likes of Tony Thompson and Kevin Johnson when he hasn't fought at Euro level yet.

I would say he's more top 20 along with the likes of Wach, Mitchell, Stiverne who are also waiting to step up.

A lot of the top heavyweights have been inactive: Chambers, Solis, Peter & Valuev. Other top heavyweights have been fighting fairly weak opposition lately: Thompson, Johnson, Boytsov & Arreola.

I think his top 10 position is mostly based on his win against Chisora and I think it is reasonable to have him there. He is in my top 10 and I think he deserves to be there more than Wach, Mitchell or Stiverne.

Horse - how is Price a joke? Fury has some good names on his record, but he's a mile away in terms of ability, style and power.

Price's slow progression has been a joke. The hype surrounding Price for beating John McDermott is a joke. Price fought McDermott 3 years after turning pro, Fury fought him after 10 months of turning pro.

I take Price to KO him should they meet.

You are mocking Fury's opposition? Fury has fought far better opposition than most British prospects and far, far better than Price has.

I have to admit a year ago I thought Fury was awful. Technically he hasn't improved too much, but he seems to be showing something as he grows in confidence. He's working harder and seems to be gaining the belief he needs to make his trading style successful, whilst also tightening his defence up bit by bit. Maybe he will surprise me a bit more. Mmm. I'll hold my opinion til Price has been hit on the chin.

Its a bit like a league table.

Tyson Fury is obviously lacking in most every dept.
His power seems to be improving - but he is just too clumsy/messy to really get it precise enough.

I think with his team and promoter, they can get him to win the european title. But this terrible heavyweight division really has to get even worse for him to ever be a legit heavyweight world champion.
When the K-Brothers finally retire, Tyson may be lucky to then pick up a belt, but that doesn`t really mean alot with so many world title belts nowaday. He will never be good enough to be the legit top man - or close too - the top of the division.

He did look in better condition. But not great condition. Hence why he had his shorts pulled up to his arm pits to hide his custard guts

He could certainly do with losing a bit of fat still but he was better than he has been. I'd still like to see him pack on a bit of muscle though rather than simply losing fat.

Not a bad win for Fury. Ok Rogan lost some durability at his age, but Fury showed more new things to his overall game, but I agree, the opposition could start being more meaningful. Moving into EBU contention would be a good move if he's done dealing with the other domestic contenders (becuase of TV restrictions).

Fury deserves more than the torrent of critism he get on the websites IMO.

As for Price, he has it all to prove and the progress is so slow!
