He would be very out of place on that bill, not much chance of him getting the gig for me.

Be a shock if this came off. All the best to Kenny if it does.

Would he be the least credible challenger in the history of the major organisations? Can't think of a fighter to have challenged for a title with as little credentials as him if it were to happen.

Chisora had beat the unbeaten European champ although didn't get the verdict. He also held British and commonwealth titles. Far more deserving.

Gunn? He had as good a win on his record as anything Kenny has. He just had far more wins. Unbelievably he was more deserving!

At the time he was undeserving he had been beaten twice yeah he should of got the deision against helenius but he didnt, any other divison a fighter coming off 2 losses with only a handfull of fights would of been laughed off. And by the logic of he held titles at one point that makes holyfield the most deserving challenger out there

I dont see how people complain about Karpency and Krasniqi and then get on the idea of Anderson getting a world title shot, what has he done? He has maybe one or two decent wins at best.

Oh, he didn't deserve any kind of shot, totally agree but compared to Andersons record and achievements as a pro, Del boy was far more deserving!

My question still stands. Has there been a less deserving challenger for a world title than Anderson, if in theory, he were to land a shot? ( he won't land a shot, it's preposterous if he does and frankly embarrassing for the sport. Take our British bias out of it, imagine if a foreign challenger had his record...we would all cry joke challenger )

People complain about Karpency and Krasniqi because we don't care about them and they are not interesting opponents for Cleverly. Anderson is British so we might be interested in a possible fight with him versus Stieglitz.

Does Groves deserve a world title shot?, I don't think he does, there are far more deserving fighters than Groves, apart from Degale and Smith he has a similar record to Anderson, he controversially beat Degale by the smallest of margins and Smith who in all honesty isn't very good.

Anderson was the far better amateur and his only defeat in 17 fights is to Groves taken at short notice, after giving Groves the fight of his life, imo Anderson would beat Smith easily and I'd fancy him against Degale as well, everyone was looking forward to Groves v Anderson so whats the big deal about Anderson stepping in now?.

The fact that Groves pulled out against Anderson to fight Stieglitz as well adds appeal, Anderson defiantly doesn't deserve a shot, he's beaten nobody of note, but neither has Groves, the only reason Degale and Groves have such a high ranking is because they beat Smith, who only had that ranking from "A" being a Allegedly fighter and "B" fighting 30 odd journey men. Degale looked shit in his last fight winning a close fight over a guy destroyed by Abraham, and Groves just beat Degale, many think he didn't, my point is there is not a huge gulf between Groves and Anderson in terms of ability or records.

How was Wilczewski 'destroyed'? Did you watch the fight or simply look at the cards?

I would back Smith to beat Kenny.

Groves and DeGale are both more deserving as potential challengers.

Maybe. Fact is he doesn't have any real stand out win. Someone above is saying Groves doesn't have that much of a better record but Adamu is better than anything Kenny has on his win column. George also has wins over Smith, DeGale and of course Kenny himself. Groves has a much better record. DeGale has a better record too, clearly. The man is European champ for gawd sakes!
