Nobody EVER talks about Gary Hinton going round for round with him. But that isn't as convenient as making excuses for him and ending his prime nice and early like Tyson's.

But footage doesn't lie, I think he would have been in a lot of trouble against a Whitaker, Benitez, Loi or Locche.

Locche (the true king of the 140lbers) would have badly beaten Pryor back.

I think Whitaker beats all of them. I know he only had one fight there, but I'd favor him over the lot.

Quite likely....Though Loche/Whitaker would be quite the chess match. I'd favor Pernell as well.

What it would mean this great win in boxing history?
Where would you place Arguello if he pulled off that great win?
top 5?
top 10?
top 20?
Incredibly classy guy inside and outside the ring. May god put light and blessings on his grave and have mercy on his soul.

He ranks very very highly to me anyway as it is but surely a clean win over Pryor would have put him right up there.

God, does Pryor ever get over-rated. The guy is nowhere near what some proclaim him to be.
I think we are now to the point where he has been called overrated so many times that he is now underrated.
