ESB does have more than its fair share of helmets but it is usually funny as. . . the current Clev withdrawal thread being the latest example.

I read a few of the threads but that horrible little rat, Lirva, makes me want to commit a horrific crime. Usually leads me to giving the site a miss to cool off for a few days.

There's a name I'd forgotten about. He's not still banging on about Witter and Hatton is he, the bet-dodging tit?

He's in his element over there. Not sure how he's tolerated. The kid needs hurting.

Aye, you good mate? I went back under a John Virgo moniker, but got carted after revealing my true identity in the Teak Tough Ghanaian thread, possibly the best thread I've come across on there in a while. Fuming my Team England didnt even bother sending picks in for Nations, so thats fucked. You out permanently?

I was thinking that John Virgo fella was you, if you come back again you might want to stay incognito for a while :TU:

I did, then used to write for them, as soon as a I left to write for maxboxing - they deleted ALL the articles i wrote for them, all 100 or so of them - class - given that i did them all for free and covered untold shows for them. Refused to reply to any of my emails, never went to the site again.

for my blog i post on many sites...esb , saddo , boxasylum , ringnews 24 , the scene , livefight , fight.hype , doghouse , fightjudge , the sweet science

all are very useful in getting scores.

boxrec i have used before and tbh i prefer using boxrec as the british scene is excellent but also the stats it has with all the judges , boxers promoters etc.

cheers mate , it does take a wee bit of time but usually you get most people scores in the hours after a fight.

i watched the rios vs abril fight the next day and was chasing my ass all day looking for threads with scores from the fans.

this weekend im staying up those to cover the mares and moreno fights along with the degale and crolla fights from the UK

cheers again

I use esb occasionally but I don't like people using emoticons or pictures to express points. Also, the pointless arguments such as the UK v Poland War which is full of morons waffling on about ethnicity, who cares anyway?!

Boxrec is the only place for (mostly) sensible discussion.

Speaking of emoticons I love One Punch, greatest poster I've ever seen, he's a bit like that Norweigan bloke but American and he's not shot the place up yet.

He's in his element over there. Not sure how he's tolerated. The kid needs hurting.
U should see a picture of him. His profile picture was epic.

I pray to Ghanesh I get to bump into him one day at an event.

I actually think he's been OK lately - though I admit I don't read avidly. There seems to be worse than him on there. His welching on here was one of the most seismic events to hit this board, I do remember that.

ESB's been going downhill a long time if ask me. The classic forum and the Brit forum are the only places you will find a decent boxing discussion. And by the time I was banned from ESB even the classic was getting more troll like. At least the ESB lads had a sense of humour though, had many's a laugh over there :TU:
