Try "Enter the Kettlebell" by Pavel Tsatsouline. His stuff is pretty funny, weird, but contains some good information. Another great reference is youtube. Just plug in specific exercises or kettlebell stuff and it can give you some good info.

You're the second person today to suggest that to me, so it's a goer.

Steve Cotter addresses this at 5:30 of this video. I been watching all his videos. He explains things very well.

Basically I'm trying to get my technique down on all the basic movements. I'm using pretty light weight and just working on form. My second session went much better but its going to take a while to perfect the movements.

Do it! I have tried quite a few methods of working out and kettlebells are really the best, imo. Such functional movements/strength. I have minor shoulder problems and they hurt a bit when I lift normal weights. Not with kettlebells, its crazy. The movements are so natural and nothings hurts when I do them. I can't even believe how good it feels to work with them. Its almost like the perfect exercise, imo. Something about the way the weight is shaped and how when you work with them, your whole body is in alignment and everything is working together for the perfect, functional exercise. Idk what the fvck I'm talking about but I really think they are great. :TU:

Managed 13 mins of the alloted 26 minutes for the workout. Los of form was so bad I didn't think it wise to progress. I've ordered at 12KG as I think 16KG is a little heavy for me.

I'd heartily recommend it though. Amazing cardio workout.

You will go up in weight quite quickly. You get so darn strong from these things, its amazing. I did my third session yesterday and moved up in weight and reps. I'm going to order some to implement into my outdoor workouts but I'm going to wait a while until I find the optimal weight. :TU:

They are a Great Tool, when you become accomplished with it. There are some great routines, on a Skateboard for Core Strength.

Had a pretty good session yesterday. I work out at my friends gym and they have a great set, so I use all sorts of different weights depending on the exercise and how far into the workout I am. I can already feel my overall strength really increasing. Now if I could say the same about my cardio...

Top tip; don't over estimate what you can lift. I bought a 16kg kettlebell about 10 years ago and it does not get lifted one year to the next. 8 or 10 KG would be ok for a beginner.

Great fitness magazine. A bit about different bits and pieces, also kettlebells, in vol 2.
