Bad night for hattons
Both favourite fighters beaten on a Hatton show. fair play to Ricky for putting on 2 good fights. Think both prospects will be better for these defeats. Hope Hatton promotions keeps taking risksdigger there stable better for the sport. Unlike some promoters!!!!!!!!!

From another point of view, they provided a bloody good fight - and a rematch would be extremely popular with all concerned.
It was a big success , bar some short term set backs. The losers will come again.

A lost is not the end of the world i have had many good fighters lose is how you bring them back and the way they come back. A lost some times works out better than a load of easy win's look at the 2 winners last night they both have losses on there records. Brain Rose as well.

Did anyone get to see the Lucas Browne fight? Did he look good?
Re: Bad night for hattons
I say, a massive well done to Hatton for putting on boxing in the North West and putting on very good cards with competitive match-ups. The Askin vs Lewis-Dickinson fight was a great matchup and so was Matthews vs Crolla although I get the feeling they thought that might be a fairly routine night's work for Crolla based on Matthews previous vulnerabilities to body shots.
