I have said I would fight away from home, anyone in the super featherweight division! I don't claim to be any kind of miracle in the ring but I try to give the public a fight they want to see! Can someone please answer this simple question? Why is it virtually impossible for me to be an active fighter?

Is the show in Paisley still on tomorrow? Carslaw not on it I see. I would like to see Clark v Micheal Roberts. 50/50 fight. Roberts is a nice boxer and Clark has the power. Would be a cracker.

Yeah Michael Roberts is a great fighter and also a great guy, we were training together for a while there and he has massive potential! I believe the fight has been talked about but not happening at the moment! I know i will not go anywhere fighting journeymen all my life hence the reason i say i will fight anyone! ANYONE around 9st6 or if weigh in day before i will do super featherweight! I know people wait till last minute to set up fights all in favour for the home fighter! Is this really the way the sport should be run?!

I hear what your saying mate, I like your attitude but its the Pro game and unless your a journeyman these days you have to see tickets. No1 is goni wanna go near you man. Your too dangerous. I like the fact you just wanna fight but, we need more of that. Am sure Dougie Curran, James Ancliff, guseppi DaDaprto would have have a go if you contacted them. Is that paisley show off tomorrow?

Yeah the Paisley fight night is off... I would fight as a journeyman and any of they names mentioned but I wanna fight people like sean watson, arran mckelvie or darren traynor, or anyone actually it's a fight sport so make it real fights!!!

Get on twitter and batter messages to Eddie Hearn, try and get yourself on a future prizefighter.

Yeah I would like to fight at super featherweight with notice for fights... I will try the twitter thing and see how that goes :) I always believed to be the best u had to fight the best! People gotta start taking risks! ;)

I heard poor ticket sales and in the current financial state its hard to get sponsors on board with no tv at the show iv read before a promoter will tell boxers you need to sell at least 75 tickets at £30 = £2,250 to cover your wage and the away boxers wage or your not on the show ...and your wage is only £600 dont how much the away boxer gets ..that's for 6x2 or 4x3 and you need to pay your coach and manager from that

Jeff it says in Scotland's DAILY RECORD that you pulled out the show i don't think this is true but maybe you can clear it up maybe Carslaw pulled out because he has a bigger fight in a few weeks and they don't want to admit that so blamed you in my eyes that would have been a 50/50 fight and you train with his Old Scotland team mate KA

Carslaw was gutted show was cancelled. We certainly didn't pull him and as far as I know jeff didn't pull out.

Was offered it about a week ago said yes and they then said that Gilmour turned me down then yesterday afternoon whilst I was at work they start again. I don't want to go into figures here but due to the notice I asked for what I considered a reasonable amount based on the fact that carslaw is a top ten fighter and I was getting asked to basically perform in an ill prepared state. They came back and said it was too much then I read this.

Carslaw looks a good fighter but I'm here to have proper fights with proper preparation. No disrespect to anyone obviously but with good prep I'd fancy my chances with anyone and I I'd certainly not be a walkover.

Is £3000 pound a sensible price for 6x3mins fight if its short notice?

I dunno as i have never had a fight over that duration!

I hear that people over price themselves instead of refusing the fight, is that common?

Depends on the fight and promoter mate you get quite a lot of different amounts.... The money was better in my first career though
