Liam would be a bigger fish if he beat Ochieng, However he lost comfortably. Therefore i think it would be a good match up against a local heavy handed unbeaten fighter. Not taking anything away from Liam i have watched a couple of his fights and he looks good and is one of the best middleweights in the country. My money would be on a Etches stoppage though if the fight happens.

Ochieng had not had an 8-rounder before boxing Liam!

Disagree with you Major, I think Galahad will be too fast and too busy, Galahad points for me, but the "Outlaw " will give it a real go though, tough lad.
That's how I see it Saf!

It's just a good fight - two young ambitious kids with good records desperate for the win and their respective styles should mesh nicely. Throw in a bit of a local derby and everyone's happy!

Off on a wild tangent but one of the funniest 'conversations' I've ever witnessed was between a chap I think was Josh Wale's grandad and Adam Booth. It was in the Setanta days - I think Josh might have been boxing on a Hayemaker show.

The fella was basically asking Adam if he was going to get behind the lad, push him on, etc but it was said in broad as f*ck Barnsley style and I could barely follow it myself. Adam's face was a picture of concentration as he tried to work out what the hell was being said to him, whilst trying not to offend the fella.

He understood f**k all but muddled through. Definitely a tough work out for the Dark Lord.

Other than Ochieng though Liam you havn't fought anybody in form with a winning record :-? Im not saying you wont beat other fighters i am just going on what you have been up against so far. The Wilson fight seems like a decent one anyhow

Liam beat Harry Matthews and Jason Ball who both had winning records.

giving someone trouble and winning are 2 different things, anyhow i would fancy you to beat Eubank comfortably but you need to be matched better than what you are for example you boxed Lester Walsh on your 8th fight who Etches stopped on his debut and having a rematch with Ryan Clark and winning by a round is not progressing your career.
