Please tell me I'm not 6 months behind with my fights once again, but just seen Johnson penned in to fight Khalid Jones in an IBF eliminator on Sep 30th (Goossen card.)
The outcome of this could be quite interesting. Assuming Johnson wins this one, would he take on Woods (assuming, well, hoping) Woods is still champ after Friday's fight, or would he rather wait to see the outcome of Tarver-Jones (which isn't much of a wait in all honesty - a day)
Also, how can the IBF come up with a 2nd IBF eliminator at LHW when the winner of the previous one is still to face the champ, but they can't come up with one guy in an entire year to fight Byrd.
