When I see the footage threads I'm amazed at how much there is out there to go at. Some of the guys on here have seen more archived footage than I even know exists.

I picked 2 as well, it really depends on the company though. Compared to some here I'm a 2, with friends who don't follow the sport I'm an easy 11. :OhYes:

Boulevard of Broken Dreams? just kidding.

....though Elvis consdidered himself pretty informed on boxing....lol. And didn't Monroe date a boxer along the way? Though she seemed to prefer the baseball sort.....

You’ve got my address.

Scotland’s tennis ace, Andy Murray, knows a lot about boxing. No idea where he lives.

Elvis? Monroe? Piaf? One of Hitchcock’s first pictures was about a boxer.

Buzz, here’s one for you. Who was the better musician? Ezzard or Archie? That’s not a quiz question. I’m interested to know.

......i don't know if archie played an instrument but he loved jazz and often had a a jazz player travel with him. the great tenor player lucky thompson was a particular favorite.

ezz, on the other hand played bass good enough to sit in with jazz groups......top professional guys. the song "ezzthetic was dedicated to him.written by one of the great jazz arrangers and composers, Gorge Russell. they met when they both lived in cincinnati and ezzard often sat in when george played piano in a group at club called mothers.

Before 60's: 4
60's and after: 8
Overall: 6
I'd say a 10 from 80's on; 6 from 60's-70's.
