Re: Frampton IBF InterContinental Belt Froch Undercard
Why should Quigg or Munroe fight Frampton instead of each other? Frampton has done very little to earn a shot at either of them.“You cannot get tougher than an unbeaten Mexican prospect, it’s a great challenge and one Carl needs and is excited about,” said McGuigan. “Hirales has beaten three prospects already and has eight KOs on his record so we’re up against it but it’s a great opportunity for Carl on a huge global platform. We want to meet Kiko Martinez in Belfast in September and we’re moving on from Scott Quigg and Rendall Munroe now as we’re annoyed that they are fighting each other and not Carl.”

Heres his record, who are the 3prospects he has beaten? If Quigg was fighting Frampton next id put alot of money on Hatton still having a contract with Sky.

Nice step up fight on paper, wonder how much of a test Hirales will provide though?

Going on his fight with Nichol....not much. Nichol is tough but can be out boxed pretty easily (and I think one of the Mc-Arroyo's had him ready to go last time out) so I'd expect Frampton to stop Hirales.Sportofkings wrote:Nice step up fight on paper, wonder how much of a test Hirales will provide though?

Fair play to him for taking on an unbeaten fighter but this guy is unheralded. The likes of kiko and mathebula would take frampton apart right now.

Here's Raul Hirales Jr v Charles Huerta.
Going by this Hirales Jr looks a good enough opponent, tough enough to take Frampton the distance . Likes to stand his ground and exchange punches, i think this could be an entertaining fight.
