Seems strange that TB don't want to fight on BN?

Bomber believes he will get alot more exposure on sky sports, i think he might have a fear like alot of boxers on allegedly that they dont want to be like how Froch was in the old days when barely anyone knew about him.

Has Bellew actually turned down a rematch with Nathan because it would be shown on allegedly or did Tony refuse to fight anyone but Nathan on the channel.
The rematch is what he wants and should grab it with both hands, wherever it's shown no complaining

Turned it down to a certain extent if you believe FW....

FW said he'd promised Clev a homecoming if victorious in Liverpool against Bomber which he was. Bomber was offered the rematch in Cardiff but wanted more money hence why it didnt happen and now Clev will be likely to face his Mandatory next if the stories knocking about are to be believed.

This means Bellew rematch may be a while off but its inevitable and will happen at some point IMO, i hope they build it up a bit and let Bellew have a few fights beforehand though and at least be Euro champ when they meet again.
Ah so it's the money, not the fact it's on allegedly :TU:

I'm not buying that. Besides, he's every right to want more money - its a bigger fight than the first one.

I've not been a fan of allegedly since it went pay, whilst it's done some good (getting the international fights) it's alienating some British fighters, the likes of B.J. Saunders, Bellew, Cleverly, Burns and Buglioni should have more support across the country but being on BN will really hurt them in the future.

The channel is great for overseas fights.

The two of you were putting the boot in before it even started, the channel couldn't do anything to change your opinions.
Can you read! Read what I just said the channel good for overseas fights.

I read what he read and misread what you said. I think I just saw your name.
I do think the UK fights on the channel have been cack since subcription though.

I did say it's done some good in getting them :p but as you've since added the domestic stuff is cack AND is hiding the next generation of British boxers which is a real shame.

Possibly...or some of them may have been getting shots on Sky, Eurosport or Five (with some luck)

My point is that Clev was always going to fight at the Motorpoint in Cardiff after beating Bellew which has a capacity of 5k, therefore you can only generate so much from ticket sales hence why it was likely that Bellew priced himself out of the fight.

If he wanted it that badly he'd have taken it, its not always about the money. Bellew had nothing to lose and everything to gain, same as the first fight.

That's if what FW has said is true......
But as is said far too often " it's a business" at the end of the day if I wanted something so badly I would do it at any cost.

Obviously all is not well between Tony and Fw@nk and there are too sides to every story. Tony seems to believe that Warren (or someone affiliated with him) was doing their utmost to cause Tony problems and Fw@nk is saying Tony turned the purse down. There is obviously a 'problem' there.

With Degale and now Tony, I think Fw@nk has his hands full.

Why?

They get plenty of tv, press coverage and paid for fights that, for some of them, if left to Sky/BBC/ITV/CH5 probably wouldn't be shown... fighting in some flea pit town hall or working men's club. Ungrateful pricks.

WHAT press coverage? The debut of Bradley Saunders was recent and...well...no one outside of the hardcore fans knew about it. The channel does no outside press, if your not a boxing fan you don't know about these guys. Them getting paid seems to be something that is still being debated.

Personally I feel the channel is pushing casual fans away from the sport which is an AWFUL thing, the sport needs fans to survive.
