Post by Bricks »

How would the 40 something LH Hopkins at his best have fared with the LH champions of summer 1990.

So Hopkins v

Michael Moorer
Virgil Hill
Prince Charles Williams
Jeff Harding/Dennis Andries

Loses to Moorer, likely via TKO.

Loses to Hill on points. Sorry BH just does not throw enough punches!

Beats Williams, Harding, and Andires in close decisions.

I think Hopkins wins all of them. All fairly uneventful unless he starts doing press-ups.

Oddly I also have a strong feeling he has the biggest problem with the young yet explosive and streaking Moorer. I hate to bet against Hopkins but I think he may well get stopped.

I think Hopkins handles Harding the easiest in what would be a very ugly brawl, the Andries fight too would be an ugly win but a more technical one although B Hop wins handily Andries would be a much more formidable foe than Howard Eastman another Brit beaten by Hopkins

He also beats Williams, and Hill on points.
