Good luck with it Jeff but i think people have given you the wrong information to make your dissertation really interesting rather the the usual regurgatation of online info. MMA journalism is the shittiest i've ever come across and even though most of them know the truth they choose to print lies and tow the party line.

Did you cover race? did you cover the decade of violence we've had on our tv's(war coverage) that has led to the popularity of violence especially by teenagers raised on violent video games? UFC's links to the mafa? UFC's lies about their ppv sales and net/gross profits? Huge marketing costs that can sometimes outstrip the profits?
