Although i find it amusing that FW said he wouldnt promote the fight and technically isnt but unofficially i will let people make their own minds up.
He really has delivered on this one i dont think there are too many other promotesr that could have put this together. allegedly is going to get some serious viewing figures especially since they are now doing no contract £10 per month with no cancellation issues. They potentially the biggest ppv fight in recent times, not to mention the people who will either forget to cancel after the month is up or who will decide to stay on. £10 for a fight with this much interest sponsored by the Sun is a good deal.
Cant complain this time and i hated the idea of allegedly
Good move by AL to have Sky as a sponsor of the fight, can see some sky sports news coverage of this one in the build up.
Although in my opinion Frank scored a massive home goal on Bunce's hour where he basically told FM to mind his own business and that he should have plenty of his own worries with the Darren Sutherland case...... horrible, nasty and irrelevant dig.One which I am sure could be libel also

Irrelevant and mean defo but libelous? I can't see why it would be
As for Frank M calling Haye and Chisora losers he should get a grip also as he'd be there cheque book and pen if he could. In fact as he's fck all to do with the fight he should keep his nose out same goes for all the other holier than thou promoters.

So should fight fans who are not directly involved in the fight not be allowed to speak now? Glenn McCory has spoken about it also, should he keep his nose out?
We don't know what FM would do if he could.... the only bit of dirt allegedly could have on him are completely unfounded bits of information relating to the Darren Sutherland case, not about the boxing per se.

Hearn might be a different kettle of fish.
FM promotes Fury who took his top off and offered out chisora infront of how many thousands of fans who could have potentially got G'd up and started a riot and Hearn was happy to have herbie "im going to stab you" hide on prize fighter so i do think this is a case of hypocrisy.

And McCory is relevant because..?
My point was to final round, should everyone not involved in the fight keep their mouths shut then? Final round has stated that Maloney should keep his nose out so he is not involved.... what about fighters, fight fans, journos etc who are not involved? Should there be no negative opinion pieces on it in Boxing News or Boxing Monthly.
If people took this stance about every talking point in boxing, all the internet forums would be dead.
I will be unsubscribing for this fight. It's a farce, and everyone involved should be ashamed of what they are doing to the sport. Talk about setting a bad example :(

Stop trolling you're farting in the wind if you think anyone on a boxing site is going to tune out of this fight because it upsets you and 30 posts 10 of which are about how you dont want the fight to happen because of the naughty men.
There are lots of things wrong in boxing, and rarely is anything done to improve things. If you're ok with standards continuing to slip, and the sport to continually lose respect due to the behavior of a few, then fine. You're obviously not a fan, and only see the short term.

Oh, and I really don't expect anyone to do anything because of how I feel about something. I just posted my opinion, and my own course of action, based upon the standards I was raised by and what I believe. If spitting, slapping and brawling amongst professionals is ok in your opinion, then I pity your upbringing and standards.
Im just asking, been reading the forum and seeing what people are saying. I see where your coming from. Im a footy fan and we had a player and it later turned out he had numerous criminal convictions for robbery, women beating and things like that but none of the fans knew about it. Afterwards we were fuming we had been singing the name of a player who had done these things. Chisora is a pretty shocking human being if you ask me however im a david haye fan so I will pay out for this fight but i will have great reservations about it.
Gotcha. Quite understandable that you and fellow fans were angry. I'm guessing you wouldn't want to see the club you support paying his wages any more right? That's just how I feel about this situation.
Chisora has history for sure, and the fact that he continues to disrespect the sport and his opponents just shows previous punishments didn't work. Giving him this fight and the paycheque that goes with it just adds to the problem - in his mind it just further justifies his actions. An example should be made, for the sake of the sport imo.
I was a Haye fan once upon a time too - back in the old Soccer AM days, when his smacktalk was obviously pretty harmless and all good fun. I just think he went a little over the line in the last couple of years.

I didnt say it was ok im saying i dont care. Its was a little scuffle and someone acting like an idiot that got fools like you up in arms saying its discraceful and the end of sportsmanship, making a mountain out of a molehill, you're like the 1000's of people that wrote in to complain about jonathan ross and russell brand (most of whom werent even listening to the show) because they wanted to join the bandwagon. They have bigger fights on the rugby pitch, theres far worst on the football pitch and they've even kicked of at the F1 before, who cares.

It's lack of caring about things like this that continue to lower standards. If my trying to defend the respectability of a sport I enjoy causes you to label me a fool, then my 'discussion' with you is over. Grow up.

I think you're a fool because you're making a mountain out of mole hill, Ali jumped smokin joe live on tv after racially insulting him it didnt destroy boxing then. If you cant see this fight is something boxing needs to try and inject some interest back into it then you are blind.
