From memory N2 shape has had dealings with them. If I remember rightly he was not impressed.

They are straight up conman! And are seriously missing something upstairs! Singh was begging to fight for years at the ABA but everytime an opponent was found for him he didnt show or turned it down or had some excuse because all along he wanted to bring his own "opponent" who would lay down for him. He falsified a 24-0 24KO record using the Fijian Boxing Commission or one of, and used shows I matched or promoted as well us others for dates/venues then made up names of who he fought! I then watched him live fake a fight which was appalling a complete disgrace, he was asking me to fight on my shows so i gave him a chance foolishly he said hed fight free (warning bells) and organise an opponent (his cousin) they turned up at weigh in and his cousin or reletavie/friend whatever had NO gear at all and tried blaming me for it afterwards :TU: theyu faked the fight and i told them both in no uncertain terms what i thought of them, they have since gone on and done it numerous time so he has a 5-0 5KO record because of it!! All against friends or reletives of his hes either paid off or asked to fall for him.

the guys just a straight up conman as is his "manager" who said hed only fight 12 round title fights and when offered other fights said the $$$ wasnt enough even though it was what others happily accept as basic rate in NZ.

Thats a brief run down anyway, i would never wish ANY fighter to be bashed in the ring but this guy fully deserves a good hiding which is exactly what Sii Uta will give him should he be stupid enough to get in the ring with him. Which i pray he does! Rohit Singh is a disgrace to boxing and is basically spiting in the face of anyone and i include corporate boxers here to, who have climed the ropes and competed to the best of there abilities in a actual fight. He's a coward. He's even used kickboxer Richard Benimenias name as an "opponent" Richard had 1 pro boxing fight so i guess they thought hed use his name to make it look like hes fought someone whos a fighter, Richard and his trainer Terry Tuteru have NO idea about this and when informed were less than happy. It's an insult to Richard whos an accomplished Kick boxer that his name should sit amongst Singhs so called "victorys" now the weight of Richard should give it away if you look at it on boxrec also! they said he was 105kgs Richard weighs no more than 85-88kgs. I Know terry is looking to speak to Rohit so Rohit could be in for more than one hiding June 29th!! :box: :OhYes:

Less than impressed indeed Brute :TU:

Unfortunately this scumb bag has taken convo away from what we should really be talking about and thats a solid local matching between Lee Oti and Steve Heremaia! Oti is on a good run of form, making a comeback of sorts, whilst Steve's stop start career continues he hasnt fought since August when he was to strong for over matched Brad Pole, Oti may catch Steve under done here!

Both are very good fighters, hopefully the winner will gather some momentum and move on towards a meaningful regional fight!

Maybe somebody could talk him into joining the pro wrestling ranks. His drivel would fit right in with that lot. :shame:

Singh landed in New Zealand with a falsified record. It is pretty hard to find out what really happens in a place like Fiji.

The fight is for the IBO Asia Pacific title which I guess would get the winner a top ten IBO rating which inturn could be a voluntery title defence for Wlad, I really hope that doesn't happen
It's being filmed on Maori t.v as well - although I'm not sure if it's live.

There are no fights scheduled for any IBO Asia Pacific title. There is no heavyweight fight on the 29/6/12 in New Zealand. Rohit Singh has no upcoming fight on the schedule.

What is going on?

Yes this is true Colin, I did give him
An opportunity to fight on one of my shows as a chance to prove he wasn't just a conman! He abused that opportunity by setting up another fight and like I said I told the both of them exactly what I thought of them, he'll never fight on a show of mine again and through consultation with the nzpba they will not sanction him to fight on any promotions they are involved in. It's a pity the nznbf don't also follow suit!

I would like to see him whacked into next week by sii uta it would be justice served !

It wouldn't give him a top 10 ranking. A fighter only accumulates points/ratings spots on the quality of opposition they face and beat...

Not true. Soulan Pownceby is rated top 10 WBO. No.5 i think, and his WBO Asia Pacific title, not his 'quality of opposition', got him that ranking.

Well as an official he should know that Singh is not worthy of any sort of title shot.

The IBO eventually realized what was going on I believe after numerous contacts from various sources suggesting they pull the pin on it!

IBO has enough people classing it as alphabet soup without throwing that fraud into any sort of title fight.

And the new World Boxing Federation Asia Pacific Heavyweight Champion Rohit Singh. He's going Global - An unsurprising 1st round K.O of Iobe Ledua from Fiji of coarse. Held in Petchaburi in central Thailand. Rohit is going to crazy extremes. It took Danny Green 2 rounds it took Singh 'the KO king' one.

A local matchup between Nohit with Dunny Bill would be a promoters dream.

Nohit would add another string to his considerable talents, in being a strong candidate to smash Mr Bolt's 100 metres time when exiting the ring, that is, if you could ever get him to actually enter it!

Please don't compare Rohit Singh to Sonny Boy Williams. What ever your personal opinion of SBW at least he's a professional sportsman and easily the 2nd best heavyweight in N.Z at the mo.
