Billy Joe Saunders v Bradley Pryce 1st June

Post by xrgcx »

Billy Joe Saunders v Bradly Price at York Hall. Good step up for Billy Joe, good match making, might get to see him for more than half a round. Stephen Smith, Frank Buglioni,Gary Corcoran,Tom Baker making his debut are also on the bill.

He is a light middleweight bud He boxed Mendy in his last fight at Middleweight and looked OK, must just be hanging around that weight for the fight with Saunders. No1 expects him to win so no pressure on him.

So, an "up and coming" boxer faces a name boxer who usually fights at a lower weight - where does FW get these ideas from ??????? ...............

Same formula, just a different day.

Might off got the idea of Eddie Hearn who brought Pryce in to fight his middleweight Patrick Mendy

Some people piss me off with the constant moaning of Fra nk Warren promoters are all just as bad as each other

Good test for Saunders :TU: . Pryce should be motivated for this and can still offer a lot at this stage of Saunders career.

In my opinion this is a major step up in class 4 Billy Joe... I know that when Bradley Pryce steps into that ring there's not many guys out with the heart the size of his.. also he can go distance easily and most of all he's a bit of a puncher!! DANGEROUS FIGHT 4 BILLY :bag:

I have always felt that Bradley was a natural welterweight. At lightmiddle he seemed the smaller guy.
Then again ..
I think Saunders could make lt-middle ..

The match-up doesn`t excite me to be honest. I have always followed the local boys like Pryce, Rees etc ... but I really think this is too stacked against Pryce this time ... hide my head in the sand for this I think :(

You're a Welter Brad.

But I'll be cheering you on in this and Saunders will prove a lot of he beats you.

If billy joe underestimates Bradley and doesn't do the work in the gym he's gonna have a shock.

Bradley's always in good entertaining fights. He's an old school fighter whos gonna have a few tricks up his sleeve
