Not a bad addition to the UK scene. Fighting for the WBO International trinket (the same one Haye and Chisora are fighting for) on June 30 in London, but no news on promoter/venue.

Anyone know anything more?

More boxer than puncher, southpaw, throws nice combinations, decent movement. If he stays in the UK then he'll be a good fight for our Light-middles.
But he may end up in the who needs him club.

Just watched a bit of this guy on Youtube, looks OK. Had never heard of him before, anyone know why he relocated to Southampton? Did he come over here purely to further his boxing career.

Agree with the guys assessment above....stand-up boxer who seems to use his reach to the best of his ability. Nice relaxed jab on him. Pretty promising if he gets the right training.

His opponent for June 30th is Joseph Lamptey in Southampton....Never seen the guy but seen from his record that he gave everyones favourite Ghanaian Obadai Sai a couple decent scraps.

Here's his debut fight in UK v Lamptey, looks a good adition to the light-middles here. I can't see our domestic light middles rushing to meet him.

There is a feature on him in boxrec news and also http://www.dailyecho.co.uk.

Whether I believe the story is another matter!

I was at that fight to support King. I'm part of a Nigerian organisation and he was gracious enough to come down to London to speak to us last month. My first live boxing event, and I have now decided that I will do my utmost to follow him whenever he is fighting n UK

I would love for him to fight for the commonwealth title against Cox just for the exposure

He does look a decent boxer, I can't see Cox rushing to fight him anytime soon. Obodai Sai gave Cox nightmares and Lamptey gave Sai a good fight, I think Davidson is better looking at the 'international' or 'Inter-continental' titles. Get a better world ranking off them.
