Barry Hall's management looking to sue him
Barry Hall's former boxing management are looking to sue him to the tune of $50,000. They claim that's the cost to them of Hall recently pulling out of his debut boxing match.

Sounds like he was promoted by K-Mart.

Now I dont no all the ins and outs of Hall's boxing management situation of course so pure speculation but if he did indeed walk away from his debut after contracts were signed and the promoters/management had put time, effort, money into it then thats a low blow from Hall. Of course certainly not the first time nor the last in this game!!

Seems pretty sure that's what's happened. Probably now comes down to the wording in the contract.N2 Shape wrote:Now I dont no all the ins and outs of Hall's boxing management situation of course so pure speculation but if he did indeed walk away from his debut after contracts were signed and the promoters/management had put time, effort, money into it then thats a low blow from Hall. Not money you've already spent in the leadup to a fight that never happens.buster007 wrote:pulling out usually saves u money yeah? lol.

Publicity though. He can settle on giving them the first fight for free and get increased exposure due to this story. Everyone's a winner

Problem is he doesn't want to fight. His choice of course. But the decision not to fight appears to have cost people money.JDC wrote:Publicity though. He can settle on giving them the first fight for free and get increased exposure due to this story. Everyone's a winner

Looks like his choice could be to fight or go bankrupt.

Haven't heard any more about the dispute between Hall and his management. Hopefully they have sorted out their differences.
