I believe hatton should of just did the 3 fights with warren and go to an US promoter not hobson lol. Warren would of got hatton maussa easily.

Hatton's doing this to cash in with Sky's money.

Thats understandable. Hatton at this moment is the only UK fighter worthy of PPV status. The question is simply is it worth more to be a PPV fighter than a Network TV fighter?

I think that is a fair assesment of Hattons resoning but I can't help but feel it would be better for the sport had he not done so. Also its not like he is scrimping and saving to make ends meet at the moment.

Good question. Network TV fighters take a while to build up into megastars (more so in this case since we've not had terrestial boxing for a while) and Hatton ain't got that long left. PPV was probably the best deal for him at this stage of his career.

u could argue hatton doesn't even need terrestrial tv. obviously for us fans its a shame, but for ricky it don't matter a toss.

Yeah that is true however, all this court case shit with warren is it really worth it? So if hatton makes a few bob more with hobson with the same fights/smaller names he may not even be able to box for some time if the court case turns out to be a long one. It's only 3 fights, sure he may lose out on a few mil but surely if warren has a case in court he could end up losing money and wasting time.

Yes, but how much would he have paid him compared to Hobson/Waterman

Thats the whole point if Hattons going to fight in Britain theres NO ONE who can deliver has miuch has Warren . He delivered Zoo his biggest payday he delivered Hatton millions over the years to fight, well at the least undeserving competition.

In Britain he is the man love him,or hate him, you cannot deny he is the man with the nounc,e and the contacts , plus the backing.

The only reason for Hatton to move is for bigger fights worth more money , but he has stated or rather his trainer has stated May weather , Zoo, Judah and Witter are not in his plans, so what do they want .

If they want the same has Zoo got for fighting duds well its not gonna happenI could understand all this if they were talking about the states and King but there not

Got me Fackedf I still think its personal.

WHat do you think this could do to a possible fight with Witter, make it more or less likely. I don't think he and Warren like one another. Dose Hennassy have a deal with ITV, I know he has had fights on the network

I think in the long term if he had stayed with Warren/ITV for those 3 fights then he would be able to clame more as PPV, assuming he didn't loose.
