The nine rounds (or whatever the fvck it was) of torture vs Alexander is surely reason enough to skip anything he's in & maybe download it later if it seems okay?

I didn't think that was a bad scrap while it lasted, ok it wasn't a Gatti fight but it wasn't Sven Ottke stuff either.
Downloading it to see if it's ok is still watching it.

I don't know why HBO insist on having these Face Off's when there is no 'character' involved. Pacquiao, despite being very exciting to watch in the ring, is very boring to watch out of it, despite his likable personality. Bradley is just a typical positive (boring) American sportsman.

Christ, the dynamic between these two is so poor, they have to introduce their trainers into the programme. Why not come up with a different angle to the programme and still make it interesting in a different way to the immense tension between Cotto v Margarito for example.

Even Cotto v Mayweather was a car crash and extremely hard to watch.

As for Bradley as a fighter, I agree he isn't the most boring to watch due to his activity and determination, but I feel he's being massively over rated in the build up to this fight and is only there to make Pacman look like his old killer self after being outboxed by my boy JMM again. He doesn't bring anything other than youth (and a big hard head) to test Pacquiao IMO.

The Face Off is only interesting if their is some bad blood between the fighters, like Cotto v Margarito or Haye v W. Klitschko. Without the bad blood its never going to work very well.

fornicate me mate if you liked his fight with Alexander then you really are a purist. I thought the Witter fight was terrible viewing too. Few swings, clinch, blatant headbutt, break, repeat.

He isn't as bad as I have made out, but it does get to me that America at the moment has him, Chad Dawson and Andre Ward who all are involved usually in not very exciting fights and yet are hailed as the greatest thing since ribbed condoms. Likewise Hopkins in his recent outings (he obviously was a great back in his pomp and was in some decent fights.) And then when someone like Junior Witter gets thrown in with Zab Judah, decides to run to try and win the fight and doesn't do the worst job in the World, he ends up scarred for life and the American's all say 'remember that fight with Judah, he must be shit' and dismiss the achievments he went on to make. There are other examples too.

But yeah, purely because he is hailed and isn't very exciting I essentially want to see Amir Khan go in with him and beat him with contemptuous ease. That is the only fight with Bradley that I wanna see. I won't watch this fight unless I hear it was a cracker in which case I'll catch it on youtube.

im really looking forward to this fight. both fighters come prepared for war, both are world class ,teak tough hard men, and both seeem like decent guys.

Was gonna swerve it after ppl slaughtering them but glad i watched it.
