Harrison is a big deal and this fight should be on television.

If Harrison wins then Fury vs Harrison could be a good fight on Channel 5. If Chisora loses to Haye then Chisora vs Harrison could be a good comeback fight for Chisora on allegedly. Either way it makes sense for someone to pick it up.

Could be a good shout. A lot will depend on whether Skelton still had it, or whether Dallas was a stern enough challenge on which to judge Matt. Who's promoting Matt now? Audley seems unattached. Would possibly be a hard sell from a televised point of view, but I suppose that hasn't stopped Audley taking this fight... Think Skelton would want the fight more than Audley though. He seems fixed on Fury.

I did suggest that as a fight I wouldn't mind seeing before both guys retire but Steve Goodwin whos promoting the Adams v Harrison fight said there's little chance of that.

Many forget that when Audley beat Danny Williams he was due to be fighting Skelton in that fight. If only it could have happened back then when they were both that much younger.

Skelton vs Harrison doesn't make much sense to me.

Harrison can fight Fury and Skelton can fight Price. They are bigger fights.

Have I missed something?

When did Audley Harrison become a 'big deal'? :-?

Last time I saw Harrison in a ring, he was the biggest laughing stock of all-time & not for the first time either.

What has happened in the last 18 months to change that?

Harrison-Price and Fury-Skelton would be better i think with maybe Fury avoiding the winner of the former.

the fight is harrison vs his bank manager(guy from the halifax with the milk bottle glasses). not sure if the bbbc will license the fight as he is old, out of shape, and doesnt look the most likely of fighters...

and the bank manager might have problems getting licensed too!

the harrison fan club really unsettles me, it makes derek chisora seem sane and rational.

It's truly baffling.

Each to their own, but why anyone would want to watch Harrison fight anybody is perplexing.

Also, if you were a TV executive, would pay to screen the guy who indirectly killed boxing on the BBC & put paid to PPV on SKY, although, to be fair, that's not such a bad thing?

Harrison is a laughing stock & he isn't even funny! :oo

I think Fury would be willing to fight the winner of Harrison vs Price if they agreed to fight him on Channel 5.

Harrison is one of the most well known boxers in Britain, he is an Olympic gold medal winner, a former European champion and world title challenger. He is a big deal when it comes to British boxing.

Shame they aren't live streaming this on YouTube like Hatton sometimes does, with a bit of advertising to make it worth while.

he might have been a long time ago , but to call him a has been would be innacurate , cos in the pro game he never reached the heights.
i would rather boxing fans got behind young up and coming talents and supported them , put money in their pockets , than throwing good money after bad on harrison. hes a hundred years old, made plenty of money, and was a constant let down fighting a pretty uninspiring mixture of journeymen or has beens. hes had more second chances than ive had hot dinners, and still people come on here shouting for his return! they must be friends and family
