i wish to point out a couple of errors in the current 'boxrec' record of tommy burns from widnes, england (1878-1954).

- burns did fight owen moran of birmingham, england only once, not twice!

these two met in a non-title fight on saturday 22 november 1906 at dale street gymnastic club, liverpool, england. this was scheduled for 20 rounds and the result was awarded to moran in round 13 on a technical knockout when the referee stopped the contest. moran was at this time the reigning english bantamweight champion. the contest was made at 124lb for £50 aside and £100 purse (source: 'widnes weekly news' newspaper 23rd november 1906 & 'birmingham post' newspaper 23rd november 1906)

your current records have another contest listed for 1st december 1906 at liverpool, england with moran winning on a ko in round 13 - this is an error and i respectively ask that it is removed from both boxer's record database at 'boxrec'.
