What is the general opinion on this forum about the BBBC in terms of their stance on the Chisora Haye fight?
My opinion is the board are as good as anyone in the world as far as safety etc but they just seem a bit outdated on some issues and maybe a kick up the arse might freshen things up even if it meant a second board to offer a bit of competition , although many didnt agree with me on that
The general feeling on ESB is the same about it being a bit of an old boys club slow to react and a reactive body rather than proactive. It owns the most prestigious title in British boxing and governs the sport in this country to a decent standard. That said they are terribly far behind in some aspects. The famed medical standards we often rave on about were forced on them by Allegedly.

Im for the board but needs to modernise not massively but definitely make tweaks. They are being punished for the poor way they handled the Chisora Haye brawl aftermat.h

A lot will depend on your taste pal , will mainly be rowdy clubs and such by the time the fights over i think , but if you walk up hockley (out of nottingham arena , first right then 2nd left ) then youll find plenty of late bars , theres one on a corner facing a tesco mini supermarket thats quite nice and has a lot of attractive ladies in there , at the top of hockley as you head towards market square , tram line runs straight in front of it (basically where hockley joins the lace market) , unfortunately cant remember its name .
Leforge - Get yourself to 'NG1 Club' pal.
Very funny!

And whenever there's a mass cull over there, threads about ESB start on boxrec.

It's a Boxing Forum, Macho: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/

A very busy one. Lots of trolling, a few decent posters and 'twitchy' trigger fingered Mods...Oh and lots of Floyd vs Pac vs Klitschko fans, clogging up pages and pages of threads.....

Ignore the general forum. Complete waste of space, clogged up with the nonsense mentioned above.

The British forum is very good though, IMO.

'Macho' is on a wind-up mate. He and I both used to post on there way back in the day (though he was under a different user name then).
As for me, I still go on to view it regularly but haven't actually posted in years. As someone mentioned earlier, there are a few good posters on there, but they're outnumbered by the muppets and their vitriol. Probably just a sign that I'm an old fart to be fair

Eastside Boxing is full of quality articles and the forums are a superb place to be. A lot of knowledgable posters there.
