He travelled to England to play football. There is nothing to say he wont go to Europe or The Americas to fight.

He has got that Cliff Couser character on the Mundine/Soliman bill. That should not take long. Couser has been KOed in less than two rounds in his last three fights.

Should be interesting, at least they can't say he is sticking to Pacific scrubs...

How can fighting someone you have to look half a head down to be a step up? Solo to score his fifteenth KO.

he went to the usa to train recently but still has no decent fight lined up.

he may not be beating a klit, but the guy can claim some handy scalps if he pulled his finger out.

time for a new manager imo.

I did cousers corner that night, he was almost following the script stopped couple times in first but solo couldn't finish Him and Couser went on to give him a long and frustrating night even wobbling and hurting him in the 5th!

To be fair it suprised me given every other semi decent heavy put him away inside of 2-3 rounds!

Maybe Cliff decided he was not going to be knocked down that night. Solo won 80-70, 79-71, 79-72. Does not sound close.

he is like david tua. they take the very nice guy into the ring sometimes and forget that this is the hurt business.

but when switched on can pummel most guys. if solo went into a fight angry, he'd never get beat, lol.

Does anybody know if it's true that he's fighting Joey Wilson on the Cameron-Barrett undercard?

i keep hearing Solo is going to fight and by the time the card comes around there's no Solo on it. He's fought once in about 3 years.

Solo's last fight was only five months ago. At 36 he is unlikely to fight more frequently than that.

Solo's last fight was 5 months ago and the one before that over 2 and a half years ago (Sept 2009).

Wilson's record does not make him look like a danger to Haumona. He lost to Tai and Tutaki and could only draw with the Goggomobil.

At 36 he could fight ALOT more if he WANTED to! Yes I agree theres hardly a sea full of quality heavyweights in the region, and yes it does cost money to put on promotions and what not but if he got a roll on people might just follow him a little more. Fighting Joey Wilson then taking 6 months off is no good to anyone except Solo putting some $$ into his bank A/C

the time for tune-up or keep busy fights is over.

he needs to face at minimum, guys like travis walker imo. he is wasting his time otherwise.

he can't afford to fornicate around any longer.

he should target welliver or someone too if possible.

Unless the law has changed in NSW any fighter over 35 has to fulfil very strict conditions to hold a boxer's licence. Haumona is a New South Welshman. Bob
Mirovic was only allowed to keep his licence because he was Australian Heavyweight Champion when the rules changed.

If NSW are making life tough Box in QLD or VIC? Surely he can box in NSW if he follows proper procedure etc, if theres THAT much red tape in NSW he could go state side perhaps. In anycase NO point crying about no fights, there is a wolr dof fights out there just takes some motivation and the right people to put you in the right places.

i see solo is on the card, and chauncy too.

considering there is ample time for solo to train for it, i would hope these 2 fight each other.

no point waiting any longer. either he wants to test himself or not?

Id agree Solo Vs Chauncy would be a decent Co-Main over 12 for Chauncys belts.

I dont think Wilson has the style or pop to trouble Solo, if anything his height and reach may give him some issues early on, but he'll be able to get Wilson on the backfoot without to mcuh trouble
