Tough one really. The BBBC and the European boxing comission have very close links with the WBC however Warren has strong relations with the WBO and at th very least cordial relations with the WBA and IBF. Looks like the situation and the stakes are escalating.

The problem is the media then pick up on this and grandiose sounding headlines such as "World boxing council condemns Haye Chisora fight" seem to the man in the street rather damning but the reality is the WBC have no more power or legal justification than the Luxembourg boxing comission.

When Jose Sulaiman is taking the moral high ground you know something must really be despicable...

Maybe next time Chisora should just beat up his wife/girlfriend. That would be fine by Sulaiman.

Brilliant. Jose Sulaiman blasting someone about ethics is one of the funniest things that I have read in a long time. His hypocracy knows no bounds it seems.

Looks like these fcuked up boardsof control are doing there best to deprive us fans of a Great fight  They won't be happy til there are even more factions in the sport (I wouldn't piss on Sulaimen if he was on fire).

Were Herbie Hide and Michael Bentt stopped from fighting after their brawl???
Was Tyson banned for his press conference rucks?

By suspending Chisoras licence with no timescales involved then it's the BBBC IMO who have forced us into this ugly situation.

I think the idiots who are claiming that Chisora beat up his Mrs should find out the facts first, he put his Mrs over her knee and spanked her arse............... it's hardly GBH.

I hope FW tells Sulaiman to shove it and go forward with the fight.
This is the same hypocrite who banned Chris Arreola for saying the F-word on TV, yet let Tyson, Mayweather say whatever they wanted at any time with out any consequence.
The same greedy bastard who broke his orgainzation's own rules in order to keep Mayweather as champ.
If either Haye or Chisora had a WBC belt he'd be backing this fight all the way to the bank.

If I was against Haye-Chisora happening, this ridiculously hypocritical stance from the WBC would make me change my mind.
Bring it on!

Regardless of our views on either the Board or the WBC the pressure is mounting on this promotion . And I don't believe this pressure will end today . If the EBU come out with the same statement then anyone who is involved in the promotion will find it very difficult indeed to continue boxing professionally in Europe , let alone the UK . By the way ,who would be the officials ?

There is an awful lot of money to be e from this event ,and I understand that , but a stand has to be made . The legitimate boxing world simply cannot have promoters ignoring the rules completely . There has got to be sanctions .
The behaviour of Chisora and Haye at the post fight conference were an absolute disgrace and both deserve to be punished not only by the boxing authorities but by the media and the courts , or the same thing can happen again with the knowledge that nothing will be done .

If I was a manager , boxer or any other licensed official I would think very carefully before agreeing to participate .

That says it all.. It's not about two guys settling their differences, it's about a few people making a lot of money.

It looks very likely the officials will be Mickey Vann, Paul Thomas and probably other retired bbboc refs. Bruce Baker makes reference to this in the Boxing News this week. Also I read a letter to the WBO trying to make it a eliminator for their heavyweight title, so it could be WBO officials unless they take the same stance as WBC which I cant see happening.

Has anyone said it was GBH?
No they said 'beat up', would class having your arse smacked as being 'beat up'?

I'd consider criminal charges of assault to count as "beating up".

Which way?? (the fact I'm asking shows it's not)

You won't find a bigger Haye fan than me sen, but I reckon Chisora wins this one. Chisora's got a nightmare style for Haye IMO, I can't see Haye being able to keep Del Boy off him. Derek's looked great at closing the distance against Vitali and Helenius, addmitadely he's gonna face different challenges against Haye (speed rather than size), but what's Haye gonna be like after 6 or 7 rounds???

I think this is gonna be a RED fight for Haye, he's gonna come out looking for the KO from the off. He'll want to get this one over and done with asap IMO, but I like Chisoras defence/head movement and he's got a decent chin. Chisora KO 8 :oo

It's gonna be a beauty, you mark my words :OhYes:

Nah, you're right, probably not 'beaten up'.

He did get a 12-week prison sentence suspended for two years for assault though.

Hope that accuracy helps.

It's just a shame that the BBBoC haven't put this much effort into reviewing it's judges and referees performances and disgraceful match-ups. They've let British boxing slowly turn into a joke and now they've been pulled into one.

What goes around comes around I'm afraid.
