Elmer's top 100 list official thread
Let me first say that this is a very serious thread on a matter that has been widely debated and discussed on this forum for over 5 years now and is in no way meant to stir sh!t, but rather clarify things once and for all.
I will also say that my private team of investigators, composed of graduates from the Ryerson University all the way to Oxford, has gathered an important amount of data since 2006.
Lets go back in time a little, shall we... In 06, talks of a top 100 list weren't the fashion yet. In fact, elmer could easily go to the library and bring his top 50 list along with him, which he posted a couple of times back then.
In 2007 was the first time we heard about the top 100 list. At that time, the inclusion of such fighters as McAuliffe, Barry and Ryan in weren't left unknown to the posters of the BOTP forum. After being severely burned and owned by the legendary granberry( of whom he later became a rather cute devotee), in which he found and adversary slightly harder to deal with than Decagon, the list was from about then often referred to, but never published.
Ever since, it's been brought up in discussions at times, left asleep at others, but since the turn of the last decade, more and more people have been asking to see it. Non-believers will say it doesn't exist. Half urban legend / half religion, the improbable list is a shadow obscuring this forum like a dark cloud.
Enough evidence suggests that such a list could exist. Clues given by it's originator along the years suggest that this important benchmark of a list is a weight that no man should carry alone. I too, would not bring such a list with me to go browse at the library. Only the naives would. It is why I will be the Kurt Russell of this list. This thread will be it's Stargate.
The data collected here can be backed up. The picks in bold are locked as stated so by the creator of the list. For most of the others, I will gladly correct the order of certain names if you point out that elmer specifically stated something to that effect. Climbs and Drops of +/- 5 are the limit of what will be accepted. What is posted as a list here has been through exhaustive revisions by the best academics I could gather for this project.
The list isn't complete, but what I have is solid. Neo just doesn't believe quite enough yet.
With your help and hopefully elmer's, I think it is possible to finalize this project. Once done, it can be stickied or posted in the HoF thread for achiving purposes, and there will be no more shenanigans about this list.
For a new world order in this forum, here's the awaited:

I found that Buchanan was the best brit fighter of the last 50 years, wasn't sure if it warranted an inclusion.DaveBoyMorrison wrote:Buchanan, Laguna and Pedroza can fill in the gaps, they are complete fighters my friend.
Pedroza is #87.

You are wrong Jaywheel. Pedroza was a more complete fighter than SRR so he should be ranked ahaed of him. All of this should be ranked ahead of SRR and Armstrong because according to Elmer's world there were more complete fighters than them. Here is his list:Jaywheel wrote:I found that Buchanan was the best brit fighter of the last 50 years, wasn't sure if it warranted an inclusion.DaveBoyMorrison wrote:Buchanan, Laguna and Pedroza can fill in the gaps, they are complete fighters my friend.

Very funny, but that is not my list, sir. You did a good job in trying to expose my list, but definately, it is not my list.
Re: Elmer's top 100 list official thread
Definitely.
You should post your real list then. This list looks quite accurate.

To 50 is pretty much spot on if you ask me. I will gladly accept your corrections and edit the list.elmersalsa wrote:Very funny, but that is not my list, sir. You did a good job in trying to expose my list, but definately, it is not my list.
The list isn't about most complete fighters, or else Meldrick Taylor would be in the top 10. It is a top 100 P4P all-time list. Stay on topic please.Borinken25 wrote:You are wrong Jaywheel. Re: Elmer's top 100 list official thread
I congratulate those investigators about finding bits and pieces and comments that I have made over the years about my top 100 greatest fighters pound per pound list. As you could see, I vary from year to year depending on more further reviews. Some of the spots in this ranking are about correct. Some don't. I will come with the list, no matter what anybody in this forum has to say. I think is as accurate as I reviewed the records and putting a lot of consideration about the ranking matters. Everybody got different lists. Mine is not an exception.
Good job investigators, but, the list is not as accurate as mine.

You vary from hour to hour. The fact is you have no top 100 list, you're nothing but a blowhard buffoon trolling on a message board.elmersalsa wrote:I congratulate those investigators about finding bits and pieces and comments that I have made over the years about my top 100 greatest fighters pound per pound list.
