I have an old copy of Marvin Hagler vs Cyclone Hart.
I throw it on all the time. I guess its the whole seventies,Philly middleweight thing.
I had always heard how Hagler sought out the toughest competition in going to these guys backyard. And they were bad asses. Hart,Watts,Monroe,Bad Bennie.
Once I got a copy of one of those fights,I had to watch it over and over.

Back in 1990 it was SRL- Hearns II mainly cos my dad had a videotape of it and I was an amateur myself and in love with SRL.
Re: the fight you watched most often
Don't spend much time watching old fights, but I would say the first Frazier-Quarry fight would be the one I've seen most often. Maybe 5 or 6 times in all.
The first round is one of the great rounds in boxing history, imo. Two warriors, at probably their absolute best, going head to head. Awesome.
I've watched the complete FOTC maybe 4 times.
Also have seen the Hearns destruction of Duran multiple times.
Patterson-Cooper a few times, too. Floyd looked great in this one.

Great choice, Erik's last truly great performance, and indeed it seems all the more special now that we see what Manny's accomplished since.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Morales/Pac 1
For me Gatti/Ward I, and Morales/Barrera I are the fights I've watched most. I don't know which one I've seen more, but I've seen both fights over a dozen times. Absolutely adore the effort put forth by all 4 men involved in these epic battles.

Nice to hear Carpenter's sane brand of commentary again. If that fight was today you'd have someone screaming all over that first round distracting from the action by trying to talk up what a great fight (whatever network) was bringing you.
Re: the fight you watched most often
Hagler vs Hearns, first by far. I must have watched it 30+ times easy.
I've also given Pryor vs Arguello 1 a good hammering!
