I wonder if Frank Maloney will ask for the winner of Haye vs Chisora?

Sexton applauding Price after the first two knockdowns told us just how much chance he thought he had from that point on! Good finish from the big fella. I had a score on Price inside 3! Git!!!

And we don't know how he will react if the fight doesn't go as planned.

And a punter up in Liverpool is breathing easier apparently betted £50,000 on Price knocking out Sexton in four rounds. On the fight itself, it was another excellent performance from David Price. He controlled the pace of the fight very well working off his jab effective and did not waste his shots and succeeded in putting his man down twice and powerfully for the third and final time to get the stoppage.

Chisora had a war with Sexton. Price did it easily. Who next?

we will find out the answers when he steps up in class hopefully,3 or 4 fights and i think we`ll know if he`s ready for a title shot

Can't see Frank letting him fight the Klitschkos in 3 or 4 fights. Povetkin would beat Price IMHO.

I not so sure about that, Povetkin seems to gone backwards in last few fights.

Teddy left, so he didn't train right for the last one. Povetkin takes a hell of a shot and throws a lot of punches. Lets see what happens when Price goes in the trenches.

Price has looked great, but he hasn't defeated anyone above domestic level. A lot of questions need to be answered before I can confidently assess his chances against world class opponents.

he`s going to have to fight one of them sooner or later,in 3 fights he could be top of the contender list, the division is that weak

Nice quick defence of his belts then take on Chisora once Haye has beaten him maybe?

I agree get him out in July. He going to get more popular. He Kos Chisora he was hitting Sexton to body I heard few put Del down with body shots in sparring.

Kevin Satchell wins the Commonwealth Flyweight title against Paul Edwards with a 10th round retirement. Not surprised by it had it Satchell up 88-83 on my card going into the 10th round. He was throwing more and landing effectively and keeping Edwards on the backfoot and did not seem effected by anything that Edwards was throwing at him he kept calm and paced the fight very well.

Especially when you take into account it was the first time that Satchell has been beyond six rounds in his professional career.

Agreed. He clearly however was elite level power - i predict that as he moves up in level, he will continue to smash people to bits. The truth of the matter is, outside of the Klitchsko's there are few real world class heavyweights out there, with serious skill sets to test a fighter like Price - numbing power like that is only countered by having the skills to avoid being hit, and let's face it, most of the current crop have crap defensive abilities.

Someone like Thompson would pose some interesting problems for Price, we've not seen him in against someone with defensive skills like that. That fight is probably a bit too early for Price right now though.

Will Hamilton now get that IBF eliminator that Theophane was in line for?
