Edwards/Satchell - Saturday

Post by GlobalBox »

This looks like it could be a decent little scrap, not seen Satchell yet but apparently the two of them used to spar.

Be interested to hear anyones views on this one really, promises to be a tidy fight.

I can't call it. Not seen enough of Satchell to give a solid opinion.

Will be a great little fight though, that I can confirm. Both boys will want to win on home turf so expect a scrap.

Saw the Satchell-Power fight on sky. He dropped Power and hurt him he looked pretty good. Both guys are still inexperienced nothing new at the lower weights. I'd pick edwards though.

I was offered Both when John Donnelly pulled out of our English Title fight, but i Told Frank I am NOT fighting Satchell, we agreed with P Edwards and all was good until the day before the weigh inn. Got a call Paul had pulled out and the only person to fight was Satchell. I said No and after my Trainer and a few other had told me not to fight but after a few hours i agreed to fight The Money was Very Good for a 6 rounder and i had been training 8 weeks so i had No excuses.

I didn't the fight how did it go??

In all honesty (as an Edwards fan), Satchell dominated Paul.

People thought he looked gaunt at the weight but in fact he was very, very strong. He kept pushing Paul back and landed decent shots time and time again. Edwards really was too small in there.

Fair play to Satchell. He's only young, but he's game and has the talent.

Satchell was impressive, well played to the lad he totally dominated Edwards. Next up for Satchell should be Chris Edwards or Shinny Bayaar maybe.
