A New Lou Ambers Bout?

I have taken the liberty of inserting into the BoxRec database what appears to be a new (June 21) Lou Ambers bout. Source: EVERETT DAILY HERALD, June 22, 1938.

Quote: "LOS ANGELES-Lightweight Champion Lou Ambers, 137, New York, out-pointed Jimmy Vaughn, 136 1/2, Cleveland, (10), non-title."

If this is bad info, I'll delete the bout.

It's probably legit, but just to be safe I'd check the LA Times while you're at Suzzallo.

Yep! The LA TIMES confirms it. You can't miss it; it a big two-paged story. he injured his hand, and it was wondered by all whether it would heal in time for his upcoming bout with Amstrong.

Also, Young Joe Louis was on the same card. I'll enter the other bouts later.
