Whether or not you agree with the boards decision to not sanction this fight, the point remains that if you do allow them to use their powers, there is no reason for the board to exist.

If this is the case you must also have a plan for their replacement. Maybe you think the board should be replaced by a free market with no restrictions or perhaps you think it should be Bruce Baker and his shady bunch of South London operators should be at the helm.

things have to be done correctly and by the book otherwise whats to stop the board doing what they like at the expense of the boxers in the future. They had the chance to ban chisora they didnt do it, they cant then change their mind, kick up a stink, and bully people just because they dont like the fight is now being put on by someone else.

If the EBU decides the BBBofC are withing their rights and within the rules of the law to try and put a stop to the fight and decide to back them then most will probably support their decision. However if it turns into a farce and a case of we're sticking together on this one simply because we dont like it then FW should drag them throught the courts and im sure he will win.

I was under the impression the BBBoC banned Chisora???
If I lose my driving license would it be ok to drive around with a Luxembourg license just because I need to drive for work??

No they just withdrew his license and said he was free to apply for a license from another board or re-apply for his British license. If he was banned he would be on the EBU banned boxers list and would be unable to get a license anywhere. The reason the BBBofC are kicking up a fuss is because they didnt expect him to get the license from somewhere then have the fight in the UK. They wouldnt have an issue if the fight was actually in luxemburg.

Strangely I can't find the part where it say's that Chisora is free to apply for a licence from another Board or reapply for his British licence.
Odd that.

:TU: the issue they have is that the state "not fit to hold a british board of control boxers license" they should have said "any boxing license". Instead they left it open for interpretation.

If you lose your driving license, do they also state you are not fit to hold a driving license somewhere else also?

Does being banned from driving here actually stop you from getting a license in another country ????

Im not sure it does , especially in some dodgy countries .

OK if you get banned from driving in the UK you can sit a test in another country and get one of their licenses so thats the answer to your question and doesnt help your argument. Because as i stated the problem is the fight being held in the UK.

You cannot have more than one driving licence in the EU. This does include licences that have been revoked due to a driving offence. However, if you get banned in the country you reside. Then that ban is effective to all EU countries. Even if your licence was issued in another EU country. If you get banned in an EU country you are visiting. They have to give your licence back when you leave and you can carry on using your licence in your country of residence and all the other EU countries.

This is what I understand anyway. Could be wrong.

It's been said by those involved in the promotion that the BBBoC SAID that Chisora was free to apply for a licence from elsewhere. Did they say that or not?

Thats right thats why i said it was like comparing apples and pears a boxing license isnt a driving license and chisora isnt banned. Not all licenses have the same rules and restrictions you do understand this right?
