German boxing board, double standards

So the German Boxing board (BDB) have condemed the Haye v Chisora fight, but were willing to licence Scott Dixon to fight in Malta in a WBU title fight, even though he's on bail and not licenced by the Maltese boxing board.

The Maltese boxing board had refused Dixon a licence until the Maltese authorities either declared him innocent of the charges against him or such charges are dropped.

Very interesting, yep that would smell a bit of double standards. There is a bit of assumptions going on though in that it is not clear if Scott Dixon was going to get a German Licence "one would have to assume" is the quote.

But yes, all roads point to some clear double standards.

But still, it doesn't make the Chisora vs Haye fight any more "right".... Two wrongs and all that. Neither should take place (and I would place more money on this bill falling apart than the Chisora one).

I heard Dixon got pulled up on the Mellieha highway in Malta going about 120mph in his convertible. The funny thing was, he had an old woman in the car with him at the time who was knitting! Apparently the police motorcyclist pulled up alongside them and said "Pull over"; the old woman shouted back "No. Scarf. So eff you!".

Also allowed McCall to fight in Frakfurt last week while on a medical suspension.
