Anyone going to Froch v Bute
Anyone going to Froch v Bute
Me and a mate are heading down early afternoon on Saturday for this. Can't wait. Is gonna be an absolute war while it lasts.
There is a bit of a meet up organised in the Approach pub in Nottingham beforehand where they are showing past Froch fights and have a charity raffle etc. Also an after fight party at Gatecrasher in Nottingham. Me and my mate are both going to this.
What's everyone's plans for this one?

Ill be there but not bothering with approach or gatecrasher , for starters gatecrasher is garbage nowdays , at least the nottingham one is , i was there on sunday as i had a lad boxing there , terrible layout for putting on boxing and such , and approach offers nothing i probably wont be doing on saturday anyway .
Maybe its just something different for people from outside of nottingham

I'll be there 8)
Gonna get there for the start because I want to see Leigh Wood in his 4th pro fight, will be a long old slug till the main event but will be worth it. Tempted to leave work early on Friday for the weigh in aswell.
The approach will be sound for before hand, nice steady boozer

I've said I'm not going to hit the beers until I get on the train at 2.25pm from London but no doubt the drinking pace will quicken once we arrive in Notts! Especially with the glorious weather forecast.

I'll be there with 3 of my mates, going Hooters for tea and then off to the arena with maybe a few bars inbetween.
How do you get tickets to the after party?

On a train up from London at 11-15 swore this time last week 100% wouldn't have any beers on the way up....one of the lads I'm going with texted and said did I want him to bring along the beers for the train journey - I'm already wavering
Can not wait now. Really looking forward to this one

Everybody who is going try and get in for 6:30 and get a glimpse of me ( Kieran Farrell) I'm just boxing a 4 round tune up vs Jason Nesbit before I take on unbeaten joe Eldifh for the central area lightweight title on 22nd June. It's my 1st fight under new promoter / manager dave Coldwell and new trainers John breen & eamonn Magee !

Driving down from Glasgow, leaving at 11am hope to be there for 3.30/4 ish.
Can't wait, although Im surprised at the level of support Bute has from the weigh in. Im not going to be solidly behind either fighter I just hope its a great fight for the neutrals! (ie me)
