Well, I would have said it would be Hatton just laying down the facts as he sees them, but what with the City stadium, the great announcement by Fight Academy - are they actually going to make the Maussa fight official? But he can't fight with the Fwank case ongoing, can he, whether Hatton camp's in the right or not?

KOJOE mentioned the link problem is due to some server trouble or something. I have every faith the situation will be rectified asap, or I'm minimum weight emeritus champ

Warren would have to seek an injunction to stop him fighting and a judge will look at the case and either grant the injunction or deny it. It doesn't seem to be a clearcut case so I think the fight will still go ahead.

I thought he didnt look too bad.

I'm 5'8 and 190, he looked trimmer than me.

Looks like Hatton's next two fights will be highly paid walk overs then....

Gatti is finished - now way he deserves another shot after his last no show.

It's hard to fault the Mausaa match though as it gets Hatton his second legit belt.

Hatton-Gatti is great commercial sense though. It will be entertaining while it lasts, against slick boxers Gatti is useless but against a come forward opponent like Hatton I think he will land some leather in a wildly entertaining scrap before being overpowered in 6/7 rounds.

I would have thought Mayweather will have moved up in weight again by the time Hatton-Cotto have sorted out between them who is the best challenger for him.

so I have to say him unifying the titles aswell as toppling Tszyu was beyond my wildest fantasies!

Maussa is a tougher fight for Hatton than people are giving him credit for. A Hatton win is almost a certainty
but it will not be the walkover some are saying it will be.

Maussa looked good because Harris looked so awful in defeat IMO but it's a legit belt and therefore the smartest move from the Hatton camp.

Maussa's unpredictable style makes him dangerous, as does his punch, but I would expect Hatton to win convincingly. Wouldn't be surprise if it was a points win.

Picking up Maussa's belt is a very smart move, he will be in an excellent position to call the shots for big fights with two belts.

Bring on Mayweather I say. Got a feeling Mayweather will fall short at Welter, it's a long way from his best fighting weight, and Judah is a lot better than Gatti.

Hatton can outwork, outspeed and outbox Gatti, but Gattis 1 of the most powerful at 140, up there with Tyuzu in terms of raw power.

Where did I say impressive? What I am saying is when Hatton seemed to be stuck on the WBU circuit I never expected to
see him holding 1 never mind 2 genuine world titles. Not many people would have seen Hatton as a future unified champion
a couple of years ago.

given some of the WBU fights, I think Maussa/Gatti/Cotto is a bit of a dream scenario

I have to say that I never thought the KT fight would happen and never thought he would win it when it did happen.

So, I have to take a big piece of that pie right now.

These are potentially entertaining fights and genuine matches.

Its the fighter that makes the belts though and fights against Cotto leftovers (Maussa) and Mayweather leftovers (Gatti/Corrales) still makes it a case of shying away from the fights that reall matter.

Tackie and Phillips were higher calibre than Maussa
