I've never seen him fight.
Can anyone inform me about his style, ability, and chances of beating Rose?
Kris Carslaw
Re: Kris Carslaw
Id like o know as well as ive only seen bits of fights not enough to garner an educated opinion of him
Re: Kris Carslaw
Saw Kris loads as amatur and a few times at Pro. He is a Southpaw who can bang a little harder than what his record suggests. He is small height wise, and has a decent chin. Matty Hall beat him by naw giving him space or time to pick his shots. It will be a decent fight v Rose.

Re: Kris Carslaw
He is decent fighter, tires abit but has abit of a dig and if he goes toe to toe with Rose he has a chance - but no way is Rose a 1/9 favourite.
Re: Kris Carslaw
He reminds me of someone who might have done Karate at one time , in that he sits down on his back foot and tries to counter ,or if the attacks are not coming he edges forward into range very carefully . He's very sharp with his punches and seems confident in his own abilities . I was very surprised he lost his last fight .
I think that Rose might just be the ideal opponent for Carslaw . It might turn into a scrappy ,wrestling type fight ,and difficult to score . It would not be a shock if Carslaw won .

Carslaw is a difficult opponent
But i think he will fall short here

At some stage they have to put Rose in a 50/50 fight. Whats the point of having eliminator if the winner's never get to fight for the belt? We do want to see harder fights. Why cant he fight Webb,Selkirk or Ochieng all different promoters and that is another problem.Greavesy wrote:Carslaw is a difficult opponent

Re: Kris Carslaw
He did do Kick Boxing most off his years before taking up boxing for few years amatuer then turning pro.
Havent seen much off Rose and didnt overlly impress me in his fight wioth maxwell last time i saw him.
Kris didnt throw enough against Hall and was accused off to much posing / dancing about but maybe that was due to fact he broke his jaw but Hall did walk through him the last time and was on form.
Hope Kris does it though

Re: Kris Carslaw
Seen him fight Matthew Hall in an eliminator for Rose's title, got beat up a bit and lost quite easily, typical gets beat in the eliminator, then gets a shot at the title, while Hall has to fight in another eliminator, final one this time against Webb and loses, so his chance has gone, I think rose wins without much fuss, most likely Webb is next in line, but anything can happen in this business, so it's not on till you are in the ring. Brit champs tend to defend against the weakest, not the strongest in order to claim the Lonsdale belt outright, without risk. I think the BBB of C should give the Lonsdale belt to the champ soon as he wins it and have their own ranking system so the best fight the best, instead of promoters dictating the matches in order to get the champ easier matches and easier paydays, I know this is still not full proof, but surely this is better then we have now.crusader wrote:I've never seen him fight.
