Wow, Williams and Tapia....tough week.
Wow, Williams and Tapia....tough week.
Two very sad stories. Tapia was probably predictable. I hope any of you that are cyclists remember just how damn vulnerable you are. I've had a few friends lay down their bikes and have never been the same. You HAVE to be sober, awake and aware, and fully on the defense...or leave the damn bike at home.

Not that anyone cares, but here is a piece I did on Paul. Heartbreaking stuff, hit me hard. He was going to thrash Canelo.

Canelo's power is overrated, his stamina poor and his output sporadic.
P-Dub would've caused him all kinds of hassle.

"Not that anyone cares"
Don't sell yourself short. (speaking from experience, I've done it to myself all too much)
Enjoyed the piece. Very well written and I sure hope Paul does walk again.

Yep, nice work Mark, Let's hope Paul gets a miracle on. Sounds like he needs one, I'll send him all the good I can muster.

Paul always showed unyielding character as well; Through the ups and downs of his career he remained loyal to man the got him to the top and refused to change trainers when everyone wanted him to get rid of "Mr. Peterson". The same man who is with him now, still in his corner, as the battles they fought together built in them a sincere and caring relationship that endured even in this cut throat business.

What is it about this place that makes pricks of us all?

I quoted a part of his article with a thumbs up in the post right after.

No, humour seems to be what is really the lost concept, at least to you.
