Geale vs Sturm Confirmed

During last years state titles, Geale entered 2 boxers i used to train with, both won gold.

When i was getting ready to fight, Geale and his team were right next to me, one of them could have been LiverCrusher, i should've asked.

I believe his surname was something like Lowe, as his original user name was Lowie, how'd you go Frilla?

I won the 91kg C class that year.

Nah, not at the moment anyway, it was sort of a hobby anyway. When ever i feel like getting into the ring id train hard, fight and then slack off again. Work is just full on, night shifts kill me. Ive trained with a few trainers who post on here too. PerfectJet and DaveKirby. My current trainer(when i do go back that is ) is James Akauola. He trained me for last years states. Also got me an opportunity to spar Brad Pitt a few times over at the HitSquad.

He's quick mate. Very slick boxer. Im glad i picked up my balls that day. It was the best experience for me at that point.

Good fight for Geale. Probably the biggest money fight out there for him after Martinez.
Both have good jabs and boxing ability. Neither are bangers. I'd have to favor Geale with his higher work rate.

Interesting, i just read an article on another popular site, that no one is giving Geale a shot, he's a light puncher and this fight for Sturm is merely to avoid Golovikan.

This is a high risk fight for Geale in the sense that 1 of the judges had him losing big time in his last visit there. He really needs to be able to pick 2 of the judges.

As we all know it's a big ask getting a decision in Germany. In saying that Sturm isn't what he was Macklin beat him for mine and he had a draw with Murray. I think he is there for the taking. My only concern is the judges.

It may well be Sturm's way of avoiding Golovkin. But if he sells Geale short he's in for a big disappointment.

Their readiness to accept the fight does leave ya wondering if they think Geale is an easy mark. A mistake on their behalf. Perhaps an opponent who is less likely to destroy you with one punch but... I do think Sturm is a good boxer and on a level playing field should not be under estimated. But I really think Geale will wear him down. Workrate!!!

There doesn't seem to be a lot of respect for Geale outside Australia from what I read on the net. The o/s 'experts' all seem to think he has zero power and opponents will just walk through him. It hasn't happened yet.
