Page didnt beat Dallas officially though i did have him winning the fight by 3 rounds
and Sosnowski has never fought Page,It was Rasani who he drew with and he stunk the place out.
McDermott would be better than Dallas and for fun get Kimbo onboard.

Saw Wilder comment on twitter , cant see him being in it despite what he said , but id be very interested if he does , wont believe until hes on the plane though
Wilder would do it if the rest of the field was Hastings Rasani, Istvan Kecskes, Remigijus Ziausys, Chris Woolas, David Ingleby, Derek McCafferty and Werner Kreiskott.

However Rasani did draw with Sosonowski recently, so he may be deemed too dangerous.

Mate I'm one of Tua's biggest fans and he's shot to pieces. He looks rounder and rounder everytime he sets foot in the ring, it breaks my heart! Don't even see him running up one tree hill any more :(

I think shot to pieces is a bit extreme mate,Hes out of shape yes but far from punch drunk and surely can get his ass in gear for a 3 rounder. It will never happen i know but i just wanna see him fight in the UK

His heads in a bad place and he has no desire to box, even a punch drunk fighter still has desire (however mis-guided). I hope he never boxes again, but I'm sure in a years time he'll be back. :witzend: He's skint, and has a world famous (in boxing) name.

so weve lost meehan

a bit uninspiring to be honest

Maurice Harris

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Nouredine Mehdoune

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Marcelo Nascimento (was unbeaten 13-0 til Fury did him )

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Tor Hamer (was considered a descent prospect until he got beat , not seen him myself )

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Tom Little

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Kevin Johnson (only loss is title shot at V Klitschko)

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Tom Dallas (not really out his depth here but i see him getting sparked)

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

Albert Sosnowski

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

ive not seen Little , Mehdine or Hamer (although ive heard about him)

but id say Johnson is well ahead of the field here

and i dont particularly rate him either

unless Hamer has got something the its the Kingpin winning this in my view .

I personally love the 1 to 6 of this line-up, 7 and 8 are just crap though...surely Eddie could have found 2 more experienced Heavyweights in the world who would have gladly taken part rather then these novices who are just cannon fodder.

Obviously Kevin Johnson will start off as the betting favourite but he tends to be a slow starter in fights plus can be very lazy and a low volume puncher...i could see him trying to win with similar tactics that Audley used to win his Prizefighter.

Don't sleep on Maurice Harris, although he isn't the force he was 10 years ago he's still very experienced plus won a similar Prizefighter tournament in the past so will have a good gameplan to win it.

My Pick though is TOR HAMER who i've been a massive supporter of since his amateur days and have watched his progression through the pro's closely...although he hasn't made the impact yet that i thought he would have by now he's still a very talented boxer who is still young and hungry and will see Prizefighter as his chance to make a statement to the world of boxing. His style and workrate will also suit the Prizefighter format plus he's also heavy handed in both hands so could even get a stoppage or two on the way to winning it.

It'll be good to see Hamer, Sosonowski, Johnson and Harris fight in this tournament.

All four would actually be good next opponents for the likes of Fury and Price.

Johnson should win this one comfortably, as long as he is in shape. I can't see Hamer getting anywhere, as he looks like he blows a bit after 3 rounds, and the prizefighter set up won't help him there.
Will be too soon for Nouredine Mehdoune, he might spring an upset in the 1/4 finals as he hits like a mule, but overall the better boxers will avoid his big punches.

Johnson is clearly the best fighter but his slow starting, low activity style isn't suited for the format.
