Re: haye chisora undercard
Theres lots of rumours and some decent fights being kicked up - groves v anderson etc i think with the BBBofC situation people are holding off committing at the moment so dont be suprised the announcement kepts getting posponed..smoggy7188 wrote:was supposed to be announced tuesday just gone but has been moved to this wednesday.

Re: haye chisora undercard
Gavin/Heffron has always been mentioned. I can see there being alot of foreign fighters on the undercard. As Buglioni said he cant risk a fight on it incase it means he cant fight for British belt.
Re: haye chisora undercard
I think your right but I think some of the bigger names know that if they still fight the BBBofC wont risk snubbing them - is BJS fighting?smoggy7188 wrote:Gavin/Heffron has always been mentioned. I doubt that fight will happen. It should be put back to purse bids the promotor failed to get the bill on 30 June in time.kingfinn wrote:Theres lots of rumours and some decent fights being kicked up - groves v anderson etc i think with the BBBofC situation people are holding off committing at the moment so dont be suprised the announcement kepts getting posponed..smoggy7188 wrote:was supposed to be announced tuesday just gone but has been moved to this wednesday.

If it does not happen, why? Both can sell tickets and the first fight was good. Why arent they fighting?leforge wrote:I doubt that fight will happen. It down to the promotor. Mick Hennessy last year when he first won CHisora v Fury purse bids did not have a venue and it went back to purse bids(Board would not allow MArbella) so why is this not happening again.

I think they were wrong not to allow marbella. It down to the promotor. Mick Hennessy last year when he first won CHisora v Fury purse bids did not have a venue and it went back to purse bids(Board would not allow MArbella) so why is this not happening again.
Re: haye chisora undercard
Indeed. But they need to put this one to purse bids. I doubt a british title be allowed on this bill.kingfinn wrote:leforge wrote:I doubt that fight will happen. ive got a sneaky suspicion you could be right.Indeed. But they need to put this one to purse bids. I doubt a british title be allowed on this bill.
Re: haye chisora undercard
If the bill goes ahead I don't expect a cram packed undercard - it has sold 30 K + tickets without a mention of a undercard (notewithstanding Povetkin vs Rahman). It don't need an undercard.
Re: haye chisora undercard
true i just think FW may try and make a point also its a big chance for him to rope in a lot of new subscribersstujones wrote:If the bill goes ahead I don't expect a cram packed undercard - it has sold 30 K + tickets without a mention of a undercard (notewithstanding Povetkin vs Rahman). What point would he be making?kingfinn wrote:true i just think FW may try and make a point also its a big chance for him to rope in a lot of new subscribersstujones wrote:If the bill goes ahead I don't expect a cram packed undercard - it has sold 30 K + tickets without a mention of a undercard (notewithstanding Povetkin vs Rahman). The more stacked the undercard, the more that has to be paid out. This fight makes its money on its own so I fully expect a klitschko-esque undercard. Can't really see a whole load of subscribers climbing on board for Gavin v Heffron or Saunders v TBA, so probably not worth the extra cost.
Re: haye chisora undercard
They going to have spend a lot on advertising to get around 300k subcribers they not got sky plugging it constantly.earsjohn wrote:What point would he be making?kingfinn wrote:true i just think FW may try and make a point also its a big chance for him to rope in a lot of new subscribersstujones wrote:If the bill goes ahead I don't expect a cram packed undercard - it has sold 30 K + tickets without a mention of a undercard (notewithstanding Povetkin vs Rahman). I expect the undercard to be awful no need for good one
Re: haye chisora undercard
It wouldnt suprise me but he needs to keep the people who subscribe for this event from cancelling straight after, the best way would be to impress the viewer. It would also be a chance to get increased exposure for fighters like gavin, groves and saunders which will pay off further down the line when he will rely on them for viewing figures possibly as headliners.earsjohn wrote:What point would he be making?kingfinn wrote:true i just think FW may try and make a point also its a big chance for him to rope in a lot of new subscribersstujones wrote:If the bill goes ahead I don't expect a cram packed undercard - it has sold 30 K + tickets without a mention of a undercard (notewithstanding Povetkin vs Rahman). The winner will immediately take on the winner of a four rounder between the ghost of Lenny McClean & the ghost of Paul Sykes. The winner of that fight will then fight Bruce Lee who didn't really die in 1973 but in fact entered a monastery in deepest, darkest China where he has been undertaking a state sponsored training programme readying him for this very day (the death of his son was organised by the Chinese government to prepare him for the prospect of seeing a man physically shooting people and coping with it unflinchingly). Assuming all this goes off without a hitch e.g. Danny Dyer tossing himself off into Roy Shaw's pocket causing Roy to go "off on one", the scene will be set for Winner vs Mark Potter for a shot at the disputed world heavyweight championship currently held by a bloke who is harder than Dominic Negus but not as hard as Dominic Negus could have been.
