Ive done my first pro wrestling trainning and my neck and shoulders are killing, as you land on your shoulders when you fall and you neck gets a jolt when you land.
So i'm wondering what the best way of strengthening both areas up are as if i'm going to carry on i cant be in pain every morning with my neck and shoulders.
The way im thinking about my neck is the strengthening head harness with a weight attached.

You can use a head harness attached to the cable machine so the movement is smooth or obviously free weights.
Shrugs for traps dumbel shrugs @ three sets of 15 moderate weight to start ( doms next day) ;)
Military Press for shoulder strength is best imo. Upright rows are good providing you dont go to heavy.
If you use a neck harness with a weight or two try to keep a smooth non jolting movement to prevent injury. Neck grows quite quick noticeable after about two weeks.
Only work neck twice per week to start with though.
