Piss poor primetime

Post by MightyWarrior »

Signed up 2 years ago, but when I tried to buy the fight, on line, then through Sky box, it said didn't recognise my details. So...........I have to ring the expensive phone line, and listen to a fornicating recorded message for 15 minutes............then bloke answers and says, yes, we have your details here, sorry about that. Fucks sake !!
Try to sky + record it, wake up, nothing there - interupted recording it says ( and when I tried to record the repeat this morning, no dice either, so assume it;s another primetime problem ) So I tune in to the 10am repeat, and they randomly start the show after the other 2 world title fights, and we instead get the Arce farce, followed by Ronald McDonald and Squealing Steve Bunce yapping on for 2 godless hours. Christ almighty, it must be run by sadists.

I had problems last night too, paid for the fight over the phone around 4/5 hours before start and was provided with a lovely blue screen from 2am. Not bad for £14.95. Tried ringing them and the line went dead after waiting 15 minutes another con not being a freephone number.

Same shit happened to me, its a effing joke, no wonder folk look at me like I'm a mug when I tell them I'm into boxing. Staying up till 4am watching a fornicating blue screen, my pals were furious.

I imagine if they had seen the fight the reaction would have been worse by all accounts.

Total joke of a sport

I've got Virgin so did it all on my set top box on Saturday afternoon and had no problems.

As for the presentation itself, who told Bunce it was a good idea to wear plimsolls with a suit? That was probably more shocking than the judging in the main event.

Wouldn't touch Primtime with a barge pole. I wish everyone else felt the same then maybe the channel would disappear quietly.

I had no problems either. Thought Buncey was better last night.

Also I think he could say more. I had no problem with the studio thought it was ok.

I thought the trio of Bunce, Hatton and McIntosh worked quite well. I've always liked Ronald McIntosh as he brings a sense of calm and common sense to his presentation. Ricky Hatton was quite insightful giving his view as an ex professional and as mentioned Bunce seems to be better as the guest rather than the anchor man.

I thought it was that little bit more professional than what you get from Box Notion.

I thought that part of it was good too but then they fucked up royally by putting Khan on the commentary. Utterly ruined it for me. Ruined the Marquez fight too. :witzend:

I had to switch it off.

As soon as I heard that muppets voice, I knew he'd just drone on how 'Bradley wouldn't fight me' and thinly veiled digs at him in every round - whilst blowing huge balls of smoke up Manny's arse.

Bradley wouldn't fight Khan but would fight Pacquiao eh?
Just shows that the offer to fight Khan was probably not a reasonable offer.

The commentary during both Pacquiao and Mayweather fights is usually ridiculously biased, would be interesting to see how they would cope if they were against each other!

Mayweather vs Cotto, Bute vs Johnson are 2 of the worst I've heard in some time.
