MARTIN MURRAY
MARTIN MURRAY
i think martin is the darkhorse to succeed out of the British middleweights, would love to see him face macklin and move on to bigger things hopefully, how do you guys rate him and how far do you think he can go ?
Re: MARTIN MURRAY
I like martin a lot, had his company on quite a few occassions in the gym. he trains hard, fights hard. i do however think the sturm fight may be the pinacle of his career - a good fringe world level fighter. Type of lad that'll do well after he retires too, well spoken, do well as a trainer too.
Some big fights in the division for him, hope he makes his money and comes out intact. Why did the rematch with sturm not happen, i forgetr?

Money and options, I believe, as usual.Wales wrote:I like martin a lot, had his company on quite a few occassions in the gym. he trains hard, fights hard. i do however think the sturm fight may be the pinacle of his career - a good fringe world level fighter. Martin can definitely do well if the right fights come along.
Re: MARTIN MURRAY
He's good but in a division thats really strong, with Martinez, Pirog, Golovkin, Chavez jr an the likes of Quillin an eventually Canelo moving up there's just too much depth there. its a shame but cant see him beating any of them.

Wonder what he got for first fight, ballparkdondada wrote:Money and options, I believe, as usual.Wales wrote:I like martin a lot, had his company on quite a few occassions in the gym. he trains hard, fights hard. i do however think the sturm fight may be the pinacle of his career - a good fringe world level fighter. Re: MARTIN MURRAY
He aint a dark horse.
He is up there with macklin & barker & is alot more thresher.
If all managers were offerd one out of these three, the majority would pick murray

Agree with the above - decent lad, but not world class.digzee wrote:He's good but in a division thats really strong, with Martinez, Pirog, Golovkin, Chavez jr an the likes of Quillin an eventually Canelo moving up there's just too much depth there. its a shame but cant see him beating any of them.
