Great nights

Post by Ezzard »

I'd like to invite people to share their memories of some of the first fights they ever attended. What was the venue like? The atmosphere? The fights themselves? I'm hoping a few old timers will share some of their memories.

I'd have loved to have been present at some of the old fights and venues and just to know what some people on this board have experienced would be a real thrill.

for me being at ringside on a Eubank bill.

His entrance to the ring was worth the entrance fee.

But yes I loved the night of the McGuigan-Pedroza fight.

One up here was the night Jim Watt beat Alfred Pitalua, emotions were high that night.

I just got that fight recently on video... would have loved to have been there in person, there was an amazing atmosphere.
