I said it would be a good fight with Caperello winning, certainly better than fighting the american import, agreed he doesn't seem to want to fight outside of Victoria. Also while great for the boxers records, the ratings on Boxrec a terrible.

Yeah I know Jones was pretty pedestrian but Flanagan looked like he had a good jab and and good counter boxing skills

Improvement. I've seen Flannagan fight a bit from as far back as the amateurs and i thought he looked pretty good against a handy opponent. Not saying he would beat Caparello, but i'm sure he would be right in it.

I doubt very much Flanagan would turn him down, after just winning and defending his state title. I reckon Berridge would be keen for a re-match as well.

He should turn him down, he ain't ready, Flanagan should go after the Vlamis rematch, Flanagan got stopped 2 weeks after taking a flogging from Ben Mc Culloch, not a good career move, if you've seen McCulloch fight. I think he beats Vlamis in the rubber.

Berridge should concentrate on McKinnon, and maybe that Powencby fight, then come back as a relevent challenger, whilst Blake gets through Dante and then Kariuki.

Flanagan took the fight 2 weeks after getting tenderised by McCulloch, those who were there or seen it live on Fox can remember that he shouldn't have fought for at least 2 months after that fight, as a result Vlamis was beaten on tender meat.

I agree. And just because he got beat a few times last year doesn't mean he wont bounce back. He looked pretty good on Friday and would definately keep the top blokes busy. And McCulloch v Caparello is the fight i would like to see.

I don't know much about Dante Craig but I'm pretty sure he's not from N.Z.

Craig is a 33 year old cruiserweight from Cincinatti, Ohio, USA. He has a 19-12-1 record with with 14 KO wins but has won only two of his last six fights. Nothing to write home about.

broadhurst has challenged cap when his mannagement said they would fight any lightheavy or supermid anytime anywhere, then caps team must have had a decent look at broadhurst and reneged

so Berridge sparks Broadhurst, then Caperrelo beats Berridge and now Caperello is scared of Broadhurst have I got that right?

I dont think Cappa is scared of Broadhurst at all I think it got to do with Cappas management there the ones that dont want Cappa to fight Broadhurst. Put it his way Cappas team got offered dam good money to fight broadhurst and it was turned down, yes that was to fight in Qld. So Broadhursts team said ok we will fight Cappa in Melb that was also turned down.Aussies fighting Aussies. :TU:

Why would Capperello's team be worried about fighting Flanagan. If you havnt noticed he is the guy facing all other top LtHeavys in the country. Fight after fight.
