Appleby v Simpson 2
Appleby v Simpson 2
Coming back home for a week aor so and this fight happens to be next Friday, so going along. I thought there first fight was a draw but can't really complain with the outcome. How does everyone think this will go?? I like Simpson but I think Appleby will have his number in a close and bloody fight.
Who's on the undercard??
Am hearing Jon Slowey v Sean Watson
Gary McMillan v Craig Windsor
Micheal Roberts
John Thain
Sammy Hill
Scott Harrison of course
Hopefully there's good 'away' fighters to make a good show.

The first fight was very close and I'd expect this to be the same. Both have had some tough fights since they last fought Appleby was still undefeated then. Genuine 50/50 fight I hope Simmo evens the score maybe set up a rubber match.

Tough call. I won't be betting on it that's for sure. I think Appleby may nick it. Simpson is a good honest pro that doesn't do anything brilliant, he just does EVERYTHING quite well :)
Look forward to watching it.

Windsor jnr is a lightmiddle and McMillan as you know is a welter, am not 100% that fight is happening just what I heard. according to boxrec, Mcmillan weighed 73kg in his last fight with Windsor only 70kg. Don't know how accurate them weights are but I know that it was a fight that has been talked about. Any other undercrard fights confirmed?Gazmac81 wrote:the show is on Box -nation

Re: Appleby v Simpson 2
Should be a good fight, as Simpsons always are. He's great to watch IMO
Re: Appleby v Simpson 2
Says that Simmons is fighting chris Keane but i believe that Keanes team pulled out of that one becasue it wasnt an eliminator.
Good show and hoepfully Harrison is in that ring next week and doing what he used to do best
wouldnt be surprised if something happens between now and then but im hopefull

Bit worrying the way he folded with that shot from Selby last time out but Selby is looking something special.
Appelby likes to dig to the body too and think he might win this one to be honest but i would like simpson to win as ive met him few times and new him from amateurs and is a nice honest guy , even sparred a couple rounds with him about 12 years ago,

Re: Appleby v Simpson 2
Cant blame Chris Keane's team for pulling out.
Their fight was originally set for Wolverhampton topnght - that got switched.
Too many midlands fighters been shafted across the border haha.
Definitely on allegedly? Thought they'd pick it up

This is going to be some scrap , and no disrespect to the Celtic title but this is worth a lot more , so both lads deserve credit for taking this fight , have been sparring John and he is in top shape and he is ready for this fight , it's got fight of the year writin all over it
Re: Appleby v Simpson 2
Yip these are the fights that that really keep the sport watchable
much prefer these ones as opposed to the Main Attraction against some C Level World opponent
fights like yourself Derry , reece , Simpson , Appelby ect you know theres going to be some battle
